Ares specials

Well, first of all, I understand that's end game content and it's supposed to be hard, but come on... You have to guess which special his gonna use AND do different things for each special, and there's not even an indication of what to do, you have to memorize and fight, that's too much stress. I'm watching MSD stream, and boy.... What a pain

There should be a visual indication like when Spider Punk uses his specials or GM actions
Sword sp2
Tbh the weapons look more easier to memorize than Echantress actions
First hit being the kick.
If it starts with axe it's sp1
If it starts with sword it's sp2.
Sword= Sp2 PPLDDU
They are random on activation but follow same pattern.
There's fire icon for special,
There's run icon for dashback
Have to follow the actions from left to right.
You are taking like they are going to change this boss cause you made a rage post on it.
That's a change you're asking for.
One indicates demanding, the other indicates how I WISH the fight WAS designed
Good luck exploring this while keeping this temperament.
Dare you to tag the designer, pretty sure you know who designed this fight.
I have to use a couple expiring revives.

Currently got my hand submerged in boiling water and I’m having more fun than fighting Ares🫡
I think they need to open the timing window up a bit. I can’t tell if I’m going to early or too late for some of them
We, the players, have to find a way though this.
After a long time we all are fighting a boss without any guides to fall back on. It will take some getting used to.
I got cooked by him too. But I'm not gonna lose my sleep over it lol.
The rewards are potentially account changing for this minor pain and suffering.
Right hand cross his body for Axe, sp1
Left hand is sword, sp2
And Fintech said in a chat that:
2 hands - sp1 axe
1 hand - sp2 sword
It definitely made some things clearer.
The third phase where the extra combo mechanics come into play, (This is from my own experience) speak it out loud.
Medium heavy, dash back medium, medium special. It helps a lot.
The avoiding special is the easy part since it's a same pattern. 4 actions ( PPLD ) are common in both patterns.
