Cyclops Buff/Rework

Just wondering, when we all get the Cyclops buff/rework?

It's been quite a while we did the voting and he won against Dr. Strange.

Are there any information about a timeline?

They mentioned it in the livestream. Due to it being a complete rework, and not just a numbers tweak, it’s gonna take some time. Give or take a few months from now, maybe longer

I’m excited for this. They could do some cool things unique to the class. His beam should pulverize and he should have CAIW level synergies. I also love his signature to be called Captain Commander of Krakoa.

He should have prefights specific to x men tagged champs, empowering their abilities.

Cyclops is not that empowering in the comics, he is quite annoying. His synergies should make the mutant champs worse, so that it can be consistent with the source material.

For example:

1.) Abandons child to future - so if Cable is on the team, Cable degens by %5 health per second
2.) Abandons clone wife and kid for OG Jean Grey - so if Cable and Phoenix (since no Madelyne in game yet) both on the team, both degen by 10% health per second.
3.) Didn't need visor after awhile but still wears it like a crutch - if Cyclops on same team, -100% attack for duration of fight.
4.) Comes from family of whiners - if Havoc on same team, -500% armor and root every 3 seconds. Might as well throw in Gambit too since Vulcan not in game yet.
5.) Disloyal Teacher's Pet - if Xavier on same team, Xavier starts fight with poison debuff that lasts 20 minutes.
6.) **** Blocked Wolvie for Decades - if Wolverine or Weapon X on same team, heal block for full duration of fight.

Does the Cable degen from (1) and (2) stack if Phoenix is on the team?
Also, needs synergy with Red Mags: +500 crit rating for Mags; Cyclops: opponent's attacks are unblockable for duration of fight and Cyclops's dexterity mastery is removed.

even if cyclops blue gets the whole rework, o hope they do a red mags and white mags type thing and show some love to xavier school cyclops too

Unfortunately I don't think Kabam will do a buff of the Xavier School Cyclops too.

Well most likely when buff is finished has to still fit story as he probs be like ironman where it was a new champ and that big buff cyclops be also one of them so he probs be out soon probs june

It will be for sure. The next saga will be related of the Phoenix Force, which is clearly indicated by the banner of the monthly crystal next month

Because it's literally a rework of the entire champion (visual effects, model, abilities, etc.) from scratch, no? It definitely doesn't take 2-3 months.

Is it really ****-blocking when the one they're chasing and obsessed with is your wife? Only Wolverine's popularity has made that weird grossness acceptable, and then writers started leaning into it like it was cool and not a lame early attempt at team drama via a love triangle. I think people forgot that when Wolverine was first brought on he was to be the team Onion*, where his top few layers were a jerk with issues who kinda sucked.

*There to raise a stink, would never be a solo act. Initially odious, but revealed to have layers of flavor and depth beyond their first impression. Overuse will ruin whatever project they're in and they shouldn't be the feature, just enhancement.

The buff to Nightcrawler wasn't a surprise. And I don't think Phoenix will get a buff either.

Well, next saga tactics are Genesis (Defense) and Code (Offense), tied to X-Men
