Seems like everything is going south right now.
BG, the main reason most people spemd on the game, has had a single rewards update since October 2023, 16 months.
YouTubers are literally posting videos saying it needs to change, Epic Whale is saying he'll stop spending and yet ZERO response from Kabam
AQ Raid has finally had a reward update but normal AQ hasn't? We don't even get t3a, 75% of AQ is ****!
EQ has nothing, like nothing. Paragauntlet isn't even worth the rewards not mind still being held behind TB 100%
And the last live stream just felt like a sale presentation, I want Kabam to sell, I like buying stuff but this latest plat track is literally worse than the last since you've taken away the miniscule ammount of 7* shards at the end, why? And for a champ we know nothing about, what if he's a dudd?
And Dave is finally talking on forums but I don't see much value on what is being said, comments on we will improve, improve how? The excuse of "last team did this for 8 years, we've been doing it for 8 months" isn't good enough, not when you have a player base asking for answers and you don't respond. It's pretty simple forum managers manage the forums. We still have highlighted posts from a year ago on forums, that's not managing the forums guys.
I don't know, the game is just stale. I've done 2 paths of epoch because I can't be bothered to chase a r4 who's main use is BG when Kabam don't care about BG so why should I?

I love that he wants to improve, but what does that look like? He hasn't given us anything, that's like you're Mrs cheating on you and saying she'll do better in the future, do better by not doing it or by hiding it 😂 i don't know, I like clear messages not hopes and wishes
Working one EQ? I think you mean a new one but that doesn't give much, they were working on masters 2.0 for a long time and that never happened.
The fact is the rewards across the game are out dated, they're not being looked at often enough and the forum team aren't easing the player base.
A simple post from Kabam giving a real response is all im hoping for, a guarantee to clean up forums, respond to major repeating issues properly with strong/direct response and a plan going forward to say they expect to update rewards every 3-6 months or something sort of time scale because right now
BG rewards have no update in site
EQ update will drop Valaint when the next title is released
AQ updates are multi years down the line
If nothing is going to change, that's fine I'll stop playing and maybe pick this back up in a year or maybe never I don't know. I just want to know how much more time I have to waste waiting for Kabam to catch up and will they ever keep up
Just because I don’t agree with your avenue of communication, it doesn’t mean I don’t agree that the rewards are outdated (see my first reply). I do hope Kabam releases a statement regarding the current state of rewards and how they plan on addressing it. But just because we hope it, doesn’t mean it will happen
And I never said his comments were invalid, I said there wasn't much value in there.
Do you just enjoy arguing over petty details you've made up yourself? Otherwise I don't know you're making up expectations that I don't think many people have
None of us have the numbers on if BG participation dips then overall spending dips.
If your contention was true, Kabam would definitely make sure to optimize BGs, since they are so money hungry (as their "sales focused" livestream implies). We may dislike how nakedly greedy the platinum track seems, but the fact that Kabam has moved from it being a once a year thing to pretty much an every 3-4 months thing, implies that this is a fairly lucrative source of money (ie. Players are largely spending on this). And this spending is occurring despite stale BG store rewards.
As a comparison, Banquet 2024 seems to be financially bountiful for Kabam, despite player complaints about the Banquet (and player complaints about every game mode in the game). So that right there is already an example about the disconnect between unhappy youtubers and spending.
If there's no updates to give, they can't put anything.
This includes all sigil and plat card buyers.
I'm refraining to comment on other issues raised in this thread.
