  Any non contact champ works, NTW being obvious but Onslaught will also work

  Unblockable is just unblockable, you can play around it. Avoiding parrying or bringing Wags for the prefight will make it much less an issue. Thorns is a matter of non-contact hits. Shuri, Professor X, and Onslaught can help here. Alternatively, the thorns are physical damage so champs with high physical resistance don’t really care about it, such as Abs man or Bullseye. Final option to deal with thorns is DAAR. Your Crossbones, Black Cats, Falcons. Might take a bit of thorns damage setting up your abilities but once you’re set up the thorns are dealt with.

  I took a Havok on that node with unduped Crossbones. Couldn’t use any of the standard no-contact options because his plasmas would go wild, and can’t shrug off the debuffs without taking big damage. Unduped worked perfectly.

  I mean now that this thread is open... I do have a Hyperion to deal with on that node this war. Anyone who can counter him or do I just have to bring in onslaught and pray his AI throws specials?

  Maw would unironically be pretty good for that thanks to non-contact basics and the ability to control power gain and steal power gain buffs. In the likely scenario you don’t have him at high rank, probably just Nefaria. Physical resistance to reduce the thorns, he can regen off the chip, and he controls Hype’s power gain and uses it as ramp fodder. Just gotta accept that he’ll probably be perma-unblockable, but the parry-evade will help a bit with that.

  Shuri,dazzler,negasonic,namor,crossbones,falcon are some good counter of thorns for that node

  Nowdays hyperion ai will easily throw sp, here some tips, inflict 4 combo only. Then slide back.

  War is not miserable if you know how to fight. Why other can beat the node and why you can't? Easy because you only complaint but don't want to improve your skills.
  
  Unblockable is not a big deal, not everything you need parry and block. When unblockable punch in, just evade evade and interrupt their attack.
