AW.. it's why I still play the game It's exciting because every fight feels like it really matters how you perform (cause it does) - in solo modes, sure there is fun and challenging content to do, but like.. if you die, does it actually matter? Nope
Don't get me wrong.. there is solo content I enjoy, but it's not the same - AW provides the excitement of either total rage or disappointment if something goes sideways and you lose 😂 or an amazing high from planning and executing a flawless fight against a difficult node set/defender combination.. while failing in AW is intense, it's a necessary component.. because without the possibility of that failure, the victory would not feel as exciting.. either way, there is no other game mode that provides that much of an exciting experience for me.. win or lose
I'm not a huge BG person.. can't put my thumb on it, but I just don't enjoy it as much.. but I totally get it - it's a different form of this excitement, but it requires faster decisions and can also be luck based (draft)
I just personally enjoy AW more.. I think I like the ability to take as much time as you need to try to plan an assignment perfectly.. I enjoy the strategy aspect of trying to select the best 3 champ team to tackle as many challenges as they can on the map.. testing and practicing different matches via duel and trying to play the duel at the correct PI ratio and by the rules of the actual upcoming fight.. I also enjoy using unorthodox champions to illustrate that they can do matches successfully outside of the "normal/go to counters" and I enjoy an alliance coming together in a chat thread to support each other via strategy and recommendations (my alliance leadership does not assign your attackers, we approve or give feedback on your choices, but it's your choice)
It's always been my favorite game mode - since the original AW map (Slashed Tires, no Seasons, etc.)
Edit: I've been playing for years and years.. and still get nervous or adrenaline entering an AW fight sometimes.. that says it all I think
Kabam is letting BG die, though it's still the most favorite game mode of players.
The interesting thing about Kabam is, they only listen to data analysis, not feedbacks from players. The problem of data, when data shows a game mode is dying, it is already dying. Players can give you prediction.

I'm hoping they do something similar at some point.

No stress and bugs don’t ruin it though. It should be anything else so it’s more a comment on the state of things.
Is bro even finished with the story content to say this ?

Also back-issues and Daily quests.
