Has the window to dex become smaller?

Is it just me, or has the window to trigger dex shrunk (meaning the opponent has to be much closer before dex triggers)? I feel like in the last few days/weeks,nwhen I play Stark Spidey, building charges is much more difficult as I'll dodge back like normal but the dex won't trigger. I'm also noticing it now in raids against Weapon X. I'll dodge back to avoid his hot (so I can complete the evade and attack mission), but I'll have to try 5-6 times before the dex triggers. I don't think I'm doing anything differently than before, I've played Sparky for years and not had this problem. What's changed?

    It's nuts that this change to how a fundamental part of the game works isn't even acknowledged. Dex is up there with parry in terms of utility. I don't see it on the Trello board either.

    Does Kabam even care?

    It’s probably related to 60 fps like medium intercept ties. I can’t imagine that’s the only frame rate related tie that used to go to the player that’s been messed with by that change. I notice it most vs unblockable attacks in general since that update.

    But based on the teams history with not looking into unintended consequences through testing, and the confirmation that the medium intercept bug was related to frames and animations… it’s probably a problem that impacts more than the single mechanism discovered by the players and acknowledged by Kabam.

    Just echoing that the dex window for weaponx in raids is definitely a pain. 1 of 3 register as an actual dex for the mission.

    Was wondering why Korg kept catching my Sparky in Nightmare raids with his SP1. For some reason I could only dex a couple but once steadfast buffs started coming in I couldn't dex anymore. Could be missing something.

    Me too I also suddenly started missing the dex on Korg's Special 1 this morning. Was dexing all of them correctly until last night so I wonder what happened. And again I dexed some of them correctly in between but missed some as well then steadfast began to appear. I'm also not sure if I'm missing some text or node description. I read but couldn't find anything of that sort. Anyone who knows what could've happened please do the enlightening!

    This happened to me against Korg and now is even worse against Weapon X center path. I'm using a 7* Rank 3 duped Kushala and need DEX for my role boost. Dex is not registering.

    it's a node on korg where you can't dex his specials if you have the agility or whatever passive on you ( it's in red color )

    you are supposed to block when that happens that's why the steadfast passive appears which is very short meaning you have to parry each hit of the special for that steadfast passive to activate

    this is how they increased the difficulty of RAIDS ( it's not at all fun )

    I was watching Nicks YouTube video about raids, there was something about the Korg fight and an icon which meant the special couldn't be dex, so had to be blocked. The specific node could be the cause of this problem if it's limited to RAIDs.

    This is the first I personally am hearing about this. If it's an issue the gameplay team probably already knows about it but I will send them this thread in case they don't.

    i was personally having a ton of issues with dex for weapon X in raids. my guess its due to his increased size and his dash animation with the way he does his uppercut. issue was using kushala and ironheart on my mini account. @Kabam Crashed

    mind you while using the dex role buff for both champions. the viscious placebo/ dot debuff

    10/10 node and fight design btw. Placing the dex disabling node on the fight that needs you to dex. I get it’s supposed to be hard but the node combination feels kinda silly.

    For me personally, it is VERY noticeable against Weapon X in Nightmare raids. Using Guardian and Purgatory and triggering dex is very difficult unless I back my self in the corner. In the current BG season, I have fought him at least 8 times and this was not an issue at all. I didn't use Purgatory in BGs, but did use Guardian and I would say I successfully triggered dex on his first M 90% of the time. In raids, it was less than 10%.

    The Thanos Sayeth node says "dodge a hit", not "trigger the dexterity mastery that gives you a precision". So shouldn't the mission should still trigger even if you have an agility passive on you?

    It's not this. The issue I'm addressing concerns a lack of triggering the evade mission on the second fight in Raids, or dexterity in other situations. It's not unique to Raids, though I noticed it most prominently when fighting Weapon X on the rightmost path because when I dodged back, I would avoid the WeaponX attack but the evade mission would only trigger when I was very, very close to being hit (not the normal dex window I'm used to).

    It can be different for different attacker , defender combo. Not necessarily an issue that cropped up now.

    I think it is a problem with size s champs vs l/xl in 60 fps. It feels like the hitboxes are not correct/different than what it seem.

    This is from around 3 years ago.In this video you can see there are instances where avoiding the dash attack from a distance does not proc dexterity. Whereas light attacks do proc dex reliably

    Maybe from 30 to 60fps there are differences to dex or parry

    Alright so reached Weapon X and something is definitely changed. Could not evade him in mid map, only managed to do it in the corner, but not every time. Ridiculous

    Edit: finally managed to gain the charges and deal some damage, but GUESS WHAT! failed an intercept and took a combo into oblivion. Great game. Unfortunate I can't rate it under 1⭐ on Google play.

    But hey, we can always buy some offers right? If those have bugs, they get fixed in a matter of hours.

    Ive had to use like 5 raid revives just because korgs sp2 is catching me even though im dexing it/at a distance. Never happened before this raids
