Rebalance changes

as we got the rebalance update of Scream and Jack
it mentioned the rebalanced Patriot, modok and yondu will be added in AUGUST
so if a new champ is not meeting the expectations of the balance team, we have to wait a full year to get the changes?
use the mid/below average champ for over a year???
that’s really really BAD

Remind me when Patriot released? Last time I checked it was July 2024
July 2024 - Aug 2025
looks like a year to me
or is it only for Patriot this time? and others will be quicker?
released June 2024
rebalance changes live in game January 2025
that’s 6 months as opposed to a full year for patriot
If this announcement had been for three older champions, I don’t think there’d be any complaints about us not seeing them until August. We have no sense of schedule when it comes to old champion buffs, they’re just a nice treat we get from time to time, and so they are appreciated as bonuses when they come. But new champ tuning, until now, had been on a consistent, reasonable schedule. And it sucks to see that get thrown out for exactly one champion.
IF and that’s a big if any of Dazzler or Spiral are not meeting the expectations and are subject to rebalancing
their rebalance will go live in January 2026?
there will always be some champ or other caught in the crossfire like Patriot
2 new champs every month and monthly content ( sq, eq, bgs, wars, etc. ) and any new content, bugs that are there every update and in general some interactions that need looking into
but what they were doing before the change was good
6 months for the rebalance if any was required ( tune up an old champ if no rebalance was needed )
1 old champ overhaul every saga
6 champs tune up during banquet
1 summoner choice rework in a year
that was sufficient is what I think
but what kabam developers and planners are thinking I have no clue
I also think that we’ll continue to see surprise buffs throughout the year as dev workload allows. I’m not worried about the old champ buff cadence. That will be messy, as it has always been, but that’s fine. It’s the tuning portion that worries me. Timelines on these new champs are getting really lengthy and I don’t love it.
Kabam if you’re reading this, you should totally update his occasional offensive verbal abuse, a bit more up to par with 2025 you know..
but the timelines before were good 3 months to know if any changes are being made and 3 more for those changes to go live
now if by chance they make a champ that’s way too overpowered on attack ( doubt it will ever happen given the recent champs ) and in 3 months we get to know that they will get tuned down
then we have to wait 6-9 months just to see the changes that will be made ( and if the nerf is just too bad making that champ unusable resulting in demand of RDT’s … ignore it’s just me overthinking )
With the Scream / Jack rebalance announcement today, it finally makes sense why it will be ~9-12 months before new champs enter the basic pool, it's to coincide with their rebalance go-live dates. Patriot's buff will go live more than a year after his release, Kabam is using the extended timings (of both the rebalancing program and titan pool rotations) to diminish the value of the titan crystal.
Titans will always have new champs and why increase the value of the crystal by having the new champs buffed while still in the crystal. I have to say that it's a brilliant move 🙄🙄
It’s almost as if you’re trying to annoy the player base.
But…. He def needs a buff and It’s really not cool how long patriot is taking to buff. They damaged once to June and now it’s two more months ??? Why???!!??
He’s not far off from being good , he doesn’t need much, kinda missing the window to make it desirable taking this long tho.
I will R5 him
