The “boycott” is cap

I predict spending to trend upwards, not down.
I remember the calls to boycott when 12.0 dropped and yet 2017 went on to be the most successful year for the game, I think this year will be no different.
History has a strange way of repeating itself.

I am of the same mind. And I’m sure my lack of spending won’t even be a blip on Kabam’s radar. It’s a personal decision of not monetizing a form of entertainment that isn’t providing enjoyment. I can do or choose not to do tedious things in game now without any consideration of “but I spent money on it.”
I hope to start spending again down the road and I hope there is a course correction. I don’t think Kabam is jumping to action because of an immediate loss of tons of spenders…. Kabam’s biggest concern at the moment is the long term effect of a bunch of players who aren’t plugged into the game community daily coming across these videos. If they affirm what they were already thinking, that’s a problem. That can snowball into a whole of spending decisions on a large scale down the road that can’t be foreseen.
I would be flattered.
Back then, it was all anyone could talk about. It's barely being talked about right now here in the forums. So they aren't the same. 12.0 changed the fundamentals of the game. This is just boycotting for not liking some things in the game.
Again I'm not saying it wasn't a big deal nor am I claiming the changes were insignificant, I'm just saying that one boycott didn't bring together literally every single relevant cc the way this just did.
Meanwhile, his own forum account is post-12.0.
