Out of curiosity, do you think Nightmare raids is too difficult?

Personally, I’d like to hear some other’s opinions on this.
I’m curious to see some other differing perspectives.
For me at least, the raids themselves aren’t hard- but the way Kabam has made us do them is.
For example, limiting the amount of raid revives we can carry at one time- basically forcing people to wait out the timer.
Putting boss’s in spots, where with the node- they have almost unavoidable damage/ a very very low amount of openings, etc.

    Apart from the bugs, I don’t think it seemed much more difficult than the standard Raid apart from the obvious that apoc was a harder boss, we all did ok at it.

    I had Purg so I don’t have much personal experiences regarding the difficulty, but I feel like Korg in particular shuts off too many attacker options for a mode that has such a restricted pool of usable champs. When Kabam inevitably removes Purg as a raid attacker I feel like things will get much more dicey.

    And as many others have said, the crush on Apoc is stupid. Crush is bad, unstoppable dashes is annoying, but having both active at the same time is just dumb because together they remove almost every option you have to get an opening. Remove one part of the equation at least, if not just replace that ability outright.

    Not enough options in Champion pool for nightmare raids (where 2 bosses are skill)
    I was only able to do it cos of purgatory kit thats it.
    Apoc is currently too overtuned. SP2 is evadable for me , but still when you get rooted its really bad.

    The only takeaway is too nerf the Apoc boss, he is a bit too much.

    after this BETA TEST first round of nightmare raids I would like to get some data from Kabam about the alliances that participated in nightmare raids

    what percentage completely explored ( with and without using units separately )

    what percentage of these were the so called “top alliances

    what percentage of alliances did 93% and did not ( could not ) finish apocalypse

    I think the difficulty is debatable — if things were working as intended. When two of the four minis started bugged, that sucked. Also, the Apoc fight is incredibly affected by the ongoing intercept issue. If ever there was a fight where it feels really, really bad to lose an intercept you should have won, that is the fight…

    Fix the bugs, expand the champion pool out a little and buff the rewards and it will be ok.

    Nightmare raids were just too annoying. The path fights weren’t enjoyable. Apoc was just brutal. Even when I played things well, I never felt like I was having fun with this.

    The champ pool also sucks. If somebody brings in a suboptimal champ (or a champ who simply can’t do the raids), then it creates even more annoyance for the rest of the team.

    I have been playing for over 10 years. Nightmare Raids is by far the worst piece of content this game has ever produced.

    Not all Alliances who will run nightmare raids will be able to finish it with just free revives.
    Three of each purg and OGIM will be needed per BG to make it somewhat smooth for the group.
    Personally I don't mind them. (Heheheh)
    Just not a fan of bugs every single update.

    I think for nightmare raids the time limit should be at least 5 minutes.

    1st off, making non valiant rewards **** was a big deterrent
    you were getting 12500 or 28500 T6cc (minimum) from previous raids
    but you get T5cc now
    which is a slap to the player

    You cannot introduce something HARDER and give LESS reward

    KORG with steadfast+unblockable means you cannot dex and eat the SP1
    WeaponX with unblockable most of the time + ROOT means you also cannot dex and eat the SP1/SP2 (made worse as you seem to be rooted forever)
    Jabari is do-able but when you're rooted and blocking 13 hits SP2 with that damage, you either lose 50% or you die
    APOC......after he gains (armor crush) becomes almost unplayable unless you can time evade his SP1
    technically 1 hit and you're dead.

    makes the whole mode seems like a instant kill game mode with limited 7+7 revives

    we only managed to clear it with AQ revives and the 7+ additional revives given

    The Bugs. It's just unlucky timing because raid started when there are surge of bugs. Titania was also bugged, when you use a heavy attack after using an SP3 you will be stuck in heavy charge animation and you can't move at all until apoc just combos you or drops a special and kills you. Specials and basic attacks are straight up whiffing and intercept bug. It's not fun at all. Had to buy AQ revive bundles to kill apoc but they made us responsible for their bugs and made us buy revives..

    My alliance ran two nightmare raids, one heavily planned and one that was just a free for all. The heavily planned one will most likely 100% while the other did not clear its lanes. I will say I did a ton of work on Apocalypse and we would not have finished if I did not spend units getting him down. The fight would be fine without the Crush. From my personal experience having Jabari as the third fight (punish heavies and specials) was a huge pain as the only time I could consistently punish was off of the special 2. I will not be running next cycle of Nightmare Raids without serious changes. It’s too much of a hassle even in a best case scenario for rewards, (I got a tier 6 selector, tier 7 basic and Titan shards out of my chests)
