Cassie Path Mutant/Mystic Help

ZsirhcZZsirhcZ Member Posts: 332 ★★
I am currently looking at a team of 7 star R3 Sig 80 Juggs, 7 Star R3 Sig 60 Negasonic, and 6 star R5A Sig 200 Red Magneto. Since 4 of the 6 opponents on the path are metal and his shielding will work for Cassie and Toad reverse controls, I’m thinking of Rags for Cassie, Toad, Heimdall, and Prowler.

I’m going to use NTW or maybe Shathra for Ironfist leaving 1 slot open. Juggernaut seems a good option, but if I have a better, please suggest.

Pretty sure his shielding doesn't work on toad's node, but I could be wrong. However, Jugs will work.

I used Shathra on that path too.
She's perfect for the Iron Fist fight.
I think I used her for Gwen too I think, because my other two champs had reverse control immunity which is forbidden for that matchup.
The hardest fight for me was Toad when I did it with Serpent, so I brought 6* Sinister specifically for that matchup.
But Rags cheeses the Cassie fight so that was tempting too, but at the end of the day Cassie fight is first so I could always restart until I got her down in a clean run, whereas each mistake with Toad is basically an extra revive.

I think Rags can Cheese the 4 metal fights that will leave just Gwen and Iron Fist for NTW/Shathra. If Juggs works well for toad I can bring him as well. I wish I had a good tank for Ares. I used NTW for him on after completing the Ham path, and she’s really squishy every Ares L2 that I miss is usually instant death even if I’m at 100% health. Shathra might be better here. I worry about using Juggs since most of his damage is tied to his Gem and if ares knocks me down, then I lose a lot of Juggs damage.

Just one thing about using Rags for Heimdall.
I tried this during the SoS or AoA or whenever it was, and there is a weird interaction between Rags's AAR and the nodes in that fight where like 70% of the time none of the mechanics were working, so you wouldn't get rooted during his heavies and couldn't gain power and et cetera. It was a mess....

That was true for me too.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I wish I felt like I had a solid option for that fight. Both the regular fight and the Season Gauntlet were some of the worst. I have a R1 Dragonman that I suppose would work to cheese the fight. Take Shathra, Rags, and Dragonman.

Juggs is a tank for Ares. Can confirm.
I used juggs on path 6, my initial clear, and juggs absolutely wrecked Ares.

Got it done. Now to go through the other side.

Bringing Medusa, Bullseye, and either R3 Chee or R2 Bill for Heimdall. Whose grit is better? @willrun4adonut

Juggs works very well i only had to use 15 revives total with him while the other 2 lanes i have done so far have been 30+

The Right side of the Cassie lane was my worst by far. 70 revives.

Doing the left side, it was only 30 revives.

I'm not the best to tag for this stuff. Plus, I only use Medusa and not any of the others you listed (though all are at least r2)
Thanks! Of the 6 times I faced Ares, Medusa performed the best.
