What happen to Regen in Mutants

Last mutant champ we got who has regeneration of any sort was Toad (released in 2022) who has regen when struck and offensive regen in mutants was last seen in Platinum pool (2020).

The class that is known for it's regen is not devoid of it. All of this is because of what Nimrod did to Mutant defenders. Now that Nimrod is stuck as 6 star can we expect regen to be back in Mutants.

Agree that 6 stars are still valid for most players. Maybe a mutant who punishes when regen is removed from them.

Agree that 6 stars are still valid for most players. Maybe a mutant who punishes when regen is removed from them.

Maybe just have to see what they do but most likely they will move away from regen and be a always active regen or something new to heal them just to make heal block or removes like nimrod less like they do from time to time of a tech being immune to armor shred

Mutants aren't just 1 thing. The regen in mutants was typically designed as a counter to skill dot effects and later thorns damage, we're just getting more champions that deal with those things in different ways

Other classes Regen based on damage dealt or something similar, so it makes sense to add a more potent version of that to SOME mutants.

Generally I agree that mutants regen has disappeared in the last couple years. Would be nice to see some form of it return. And as for Nimrod, it’s a simple fix… “X” champion cannot have regen buffs or passives removed. Easy. If tech champs are immune to armor break, cosmics immune to nullify/fate seal, why not give mutants some love other than shock immunity

So more Warlock or Nimrod style of anti healing? I’m surprised Bastion’s viruses don’t block out any healing

Something like warlock as nimrods is why regen has to evolve

What's annoying about Nimrod is that he ruined Shock abilities for all the other techs lol.. many mutants came out with shock mitigation or immunity after Nimrod and it punished the rest of the tech class that largely uses Shock in their kit somehow

I don't appreciate this design decision as a way to mitigate a previous design decision they regret.. nerfed the tech class against their advantage class

But I believe he will be killed off via rarity like any other design regret:)

Kebem literally shakes timbers if health bar of players starts to go up instead of down,

Why do you think most nodes debuffs are now passive these days?
Why do you think science class is shutting off healing?
Why do you think heal block PASSIVE nodes are so prevalent now?

Kebem just don't want players to heal in fight but heal outside by using potions 🤪

I miss power lock as well, its been long we got someone who can power lock, Magik kinda took a lot of design space and they dont want to repeat it again.

If at all mutants come with regen their regen will be immune to modification so as to not fuel the science champs whose whole MO is regen reversal.
