April Content - Spy Games/Prey Among the Ashes

Side content is a Bounties format for the second time. There are still Regular and Elite bounties, but the number of fights has been reduced, and there is a more predictable rotation to make exploration easier.


EQ/SQ Updates

In May 2025 there will be a Test of a Valiant EQ. Eventually, EQ will be updated to dynamically scale difficulty and rewards based on Progression Level and Top 30 champion Prestige (think AQ scaling). Also, new SQ formats are in the works.


Spider Woman/Lumatrix

Spider Woman stacks many debuffs, especially Debilitate and Power Sting. She has access to lots of fury and has an easy evade safety net against unstoppable opponents. Poison, Neutralize and Power Steal immune, and has some Severe Debuffs as well. She is expected to be an excellent Enchantress counter.


Lumatrix has an evade charge on heavy, and triggers Invisibility. He can go Unblockable and has access to Guaranteed Crits. He also has an easy Tracking passive. As an Eidol, he also has the Fractured Power Bar like Isophyne, and is immune to Bleed and Rupture.



As a reminder, Lumatrix will be available by trading in 12x Light Essence for a 7*, or 5 for a 6*. He will not be available through the usual New Champion means (prerelease bundles, arena, etc). Taking his place will be **7* Galan** who will go through the usual champion release cadence.


Also, the Phoenix rework will launch in May, and the 7* rarity can be attained with 75 Dark Plumes

    Lots of great news here. I'm loving everything about 9.2 and the upgrade for Daily Super Event (they actually listened to us!). I can't wait to get 7* Galan!

    I believe the info hasn't changed, and it's always been that there will be two paths in the Dark Phoenix quest for the ability to both obtain her and once dupe her, if you buy enough Plumes to go a 2nd time.

    Thanks for the recap @Ackbar67. 7 star Galan, Nick, Apocalypse and Red Guardian is going to be great. I wonder what the other 4 are going to be. 7 star OG DP isn't something game changin like the other 4. 7 star Nick is going to be amazing.

    Her model looked cheap, like it was lacking textures and definition. If this isn't the final in-game look, it seems odd to put out a deep dive video of it looking like this. If it is the final, it just looks unfinished.

    On top of that, her animations look pretty boring and basic for a 2025 champion. I definitely went from super hyped at the announcement to not excited for her at all. Like, I'll get her when I get her (really need any sort of 7* power sting champion) but I'm not chomping at the bit to obtain her.

    I think when they did that her model wasn't finished. The deep dive itself will show a more polished model of her.

    Lumatrix is a skill champ, yet Galan, a cosmic champ is taking their place. Now I know it's not a strong indicator or anything but Isophyne was replaced by rintrah iirc, two mystics. So given that Bastion, Jean, Jessica and Galan are 4/6 confirmed new titans, it may be lead to assume that May will have a skill champ alongside Cyclops? Phoenix, based off other chase champs won't be in the next titan and cyclops is, ugh 50-50 ig?

    Again it's common that they double up classes sometimes I just find it peculiar to swap the skill Lumatrix with the cosmic galan when 1. Iso a mystic was swapped with the cow another mystic when spiral was already in the titan so it could easily have been a mutant replacing iso instead, 2. Nick Fury a skill champ is gonna be a 7 star (before the baron, really????) In the new omega days event.

    I just find it odd and interesting but well we will see, I've been wrong a lot before (see me thinking they would actually release Ares as playable when he was first teased)

    Two questions, one due to me being lazy (the first question):

    What is Dynamic matchmaking and
    Dynamic win/loss points?

    Last saga incursions, they had a page with info such as new buffs, removal of old buffs, champion defender listings, etc, but I don't see that this time. Did I miss the page update? Thanks. Also, I'm guessing that they got the saga dates correct this time.
