Please no more Relic nodes until new relics come

I know you’re trying to keep it fresh, but can we cool it with the relic nodes everywhere? Switching relics all the time just to get through act 9 is exhausting, and with not having gotten new relics in what feels like 2 years, it’s even more aggravating.

Kabam, I beg you either drop new relics, or cool it on the relic based nodes.

Cheers

It's not that hard to swap. It's free.

The boring story mode strikes again.
I don't mind long fights. I mind boring time wasting fights.
To top it off I had to restart couple of times because the champs I brought had no relics attached lol.
It's instant ggs, pause and quit, if you are missing a relic on relic nodes.
Mehhh... Wasted some energy and time, that's about it.

You chose the word strikes on purpose there, didn't you? XD

Perhaps your experience is different but I’m actually finding that the intercept fix they apparently pushed this month is working. Done a bunch of medium intercepts, particularly in my 4* Star Lord LoL run, and didn’t notice any of the failed intercepts I’ve been getting over the last few months.
Interesting. I suppose it’s impossible to know, right? In 9.2, particularly using Serpent and Thanos, I had multiple medium intercepts that felt like they should have landed in 9.2.5 that went to the defender.

Would be cool for Kabam to be able to say, “hey, the fix we pushed is working correctly” but I guess they never really know for sure given that issues like this as so much about player perception, which can always be faulty.

Every time I start regretting R4ing Spider Punk, Kabam releases an intercept node and I remember why I made that decision.

Obviously these nodes are intended to increase our interestin , SPENDING on, and use of relics.

More relics might help, but even then relics and the nodes aren't adding any enjoyment to the game (for me).

And as usual in reality it seems to be creating the opposite feeling with the players.

So he triggers the nodes that call for intercepting in 9.2 as well, eh? I recently took mine to r2, I need to get him off the bench apparently.

Lol I didnt. Pun not intended. But it works eyy.

I was exhausted, I had to focus on reading small text on 18 nodes. On top of that I kept forgetting to put on relics, When it happened few times, I just closed the game.

It’s not that it’s difficult, more so tedious. I have to read the nodes of the path, plan my champs, back out to the champs screen to make sure they have relics, swap the relics on, then once the quest is finished swap them back to the champs I actually want them on. That gets exhausting to do all the time. Even when I want to play around with new champs in EQ, have to do the same thing.
Reading the Nodes is ALWAYS advisable.

    It's not targeted towards spending.
It's more like bottom tier annoyance.

Yeah, while playing 9.2 i was often, "oh no i forgot relic on this champ, i will have to restart" as the champ even if good can't work with the node.

Wish every champ had a dummy relic with no powers but just for combo extension.

Something can not be hard to do, but still be tedious.

There is an inordinate amount of screens and button presses you have to do since you can't just transfer relics easily.

Method 1 (Know what champion you want to bind a relic to): Select champion, select "Equip Relic", select the Relic* from the window pane, hit the 'select relic' button, hit the Bind relic, then confirm "Bind relic. Theoretically just 6 steps.

*But.... you can't immediate tell what relic is bindable. Champions in a quest with a relic have the 'Bind relic' button locked out, but otherwise you have to hit the 'Select Relic' button just to see a pop up window that states it is bound to another champion so you can either 'go back' or 'go to unbind'. So that is 1 additional step added to the 6 minimum, or it shunts you to the number of steps needed for Method 2.

Method 2 (Know what relic you want to unbind and unbind): Select relic, select customize relic, select unbind, confirm unbind, select 'select champion', actually select the champion (and, not only is the window to select your champion small, the way it is sorted by default usually means you have to scroll and search), select Bind relic, then confirm "Bind Relic" again. And, for some reason, there usually is a slight lag (spinning wheel) when you actually unbind/bind a champion. That is 8 steps.

So, instead of playing the game, you have to do a minimum of 6-8 steps, or a more likely 12-14 steps just to switch a relic on one champion. And if you are doing that for several champions on a team, for several paths, and several quests, then it is definitely an annoying time waster even if it isn't hard.

Even if they don't release more relics, at least improve the UI for it.

I'm not sure why Kabam is so worried that they want you to confirm twice that you want to unbind/bind a relic, and yet allow you to purchase an unintended 6000 unit champion offer without any confirmation.
I'm sorry, but there's no polite way to say this.
At this point, if you're not using a team with Relics equipped, you're not playing right.
*They have yet to release a Node that restricts them.

Do you make a conscious effort to pick and choose your foolish replies?

No one is talking about equipping vs not equipping relics.

The complaint is about there not being enough relics and the time it takes to constantly switch them around to accommodate specific fights.
I have enough Relics to equip a team before I go in. I don't think that's unique.

Actually, I have 77 and I'm about average, so there's no substitute for reading the Nodes and preparing for a Quest.

There are 4 relics of each class and 3, 4, 5, 6* of each. That's 96 relics total. I have 84. I never have someone in my top 84 without a relic unless I never use them. This shouldn't be an issue at this point to anyone TB and above.

Yeah it’s honestly getting a bit annoying at this point. And every time I want to place a relic on my champs I’d really like to not have to pick and choose either. I think it’s way past due that we get some new relics for sure though.
