Alliance wars matchmaking disabled?

For a couple of days whenever I try to do alliance wars matchmaking it tells me the feature has been temporarily disabled and to try again later. Is it truly broken? I couldn’t find a post on it.

    It’s always down between Sunday and Wednesday. They send an in game email out every week about this.

    Thanks! I always see that email but thought it was just Sunday night. Why don’t they inactivate alliance wars during that period like they do with alliance quests when they are unavailable.

    We just started doing alliance wars so still learning.

    In a way they do...the message telling you that it is temporarily unavailable serves the same purpose as an alliance quest showing inactive during the inactive period.
