Maestro’s Glance Issue?

In maestro’s description on glancing, it says that hits that hit maestro cannot be critical.

Was just doing a basic practice fight with kitty pride against maestro and somehow I am hitting Critical hits when maestro has his glancing buff up. Am I missing something?

    Glancing hits can't be critical. It wasn't a glancing hit. And specials don't glance against him.

    To corroborate with what Furrymoosen said, here's the description itself that states that his glancing is specifically for basic attacks:

    Ah ok thanks. I got confused cause I was playing around with my sersi and her glance is a little bit different than his.

    The better counters against him are champs that can power steal or have their own power gain. More specials means you will take him down much faster.

    The better counters against him are champs that can power steal or have their own power gain. More specials means you will take him down much faster.
    Champs that can reduce his buff duration (or Shantra, Mojo) also work great as they also have power gain mechanics as well.
