How do you guys n gals get your rank 4 catalysts? I need them for my five star champions (Elektra and Thor [JF]), but have no idea how to get them other than by selling rank 3 ones... Is there another way other than arena rank rewards or am I just being stupid?

Alliance Quest is the best place to get them. You need to be a part of an alliance that regularly runs and completes Alliance Quest maps. I have heard people pull Tier 4 basic and class catalysts from even map 2 crystals.

@Adam1909 ...before you get excited, he's talking about the basic proving grounds, which give a measly amount of t4 basic frags, nothing class. Definitely not worth the energy cost in my opinion. I would recommend checking the glory store often, doing story, and exploring heroic master and uncollected event quest
You get about ~3k shards per day by 100% the Expert map.
That is ~21/35k shards a week. A level capped player with 70 energy can easily clear 2 paths and most of a 3rd simply by burning all of their energy now that it is only 2/per tile. The rest can be finished after letting it recharge for an hour or two, especially when you factor in the 10 free from Alliance energy help.
You may have more pressing needs for energy (Monthly event, other cata farming runs, etc), but I imagine many would argue that it is worth the energy cost.
I don't have a problem getting T4Bs, I'm talking about a daily quest to get T4CCs shards. I do the T4B shard quest if I have extra energy or am bored. It would be cool if they had a daily quest with 6 paths that had different class shards on every path. They could even set it up that you could only do it once a day, but that way people could make progress on farming class specific shards. With 6*s coming and the content getting as meaty as it is I don't think this is too much to ask.
