The Heart of Fire has opened its doors for about 48 hours now, and I've been hearing that Rank Up button click all across the Battlerealm -
So far, how are we feeling about this event? Were the RNG Gods on your side - did you pick up any fun new 7 Stars? Any exciting new Rank Ups?
Let me know down below!
my ticket to kabam, and the response is mentioned below.. its long but trust me its fun
Dear Team,
I went ahead and maxed out in all milestones from this event and this is my results
Opened 175 Hof crystals (few paragons I do not remember how many maybe 15)
I purchased all your valiant HOF delas in game for cash. spend approx. 500 usd and 11k units is saved up for quite some time.
My pulls were ,
1 7-star immortal abomination from Valient HOF 1 7-star Colossus from Valient HOF
From the 7-star guaranteed HOF crystal,( I opened 4 – 3 from milestones 1 from web store for 80usd)
3-time immortal abomination !!!!!! 1-time tigra
That's it this is the max results I received after opening 175 crystals.
Whereas my alliance mate who is at below 300 points in the same event pulled (I can share his in-game id if you need)
7 star nick fury 2 times from Valient HOF 7 star Fam 1 times form Valient Hof 7 star apoc 2 times from Valient
This is 5 7 star pulls from 100- 125 valiant Hof crystals
How can you justify this is a fair distribution on rewards. We both are endgame players and see the huge inequality the In the rewards even though I maxed out the event I still miss 2 champions from the pools How much this is going to affect my game progression . I decided to spend in this event to not to lose relevancy in the current meta. Still I ended up burning my cash and left with lot of disappointment
Now I want to understand you statement on fair distribution of game resources,, is this the way you call it fair..? even after paying for the full milestone, I am left with nothing but a 10 years’ worth disappointment .
I am requesting you to take back by 3 times duped immortal abomination and give at least 1 Guaranteed 7-star HOF as a compensation for the poor quality of the crystals .
Or I would like to return all my items received from the event for a reimbursement due to the poor quality of the items .
If this is not possible, can you just make a statement against my below query ,
Getting 2 7 star from 175 crystals is normal ..? Getting same campion 3 times out of 4 times from a pool of 5 champions is normal… ?
Faithfully,
A very much disappointed summoner.
AN THE GREAT EVER RESPOSNSE FROM KABAM SUPPORT
Hello Summoner,
We understand you would like compensation or to be reimbursed for the items you received. Please note that Kabam Support is unable to provide compensation or reimburse any items as it would override intended game design.
To reiterate additional context, I would like to share some of the core aspects of Crystals and their functionality: The Crystal carousel spin animation is just an animation and does not represent all available rewards or how close you may have gotten. All rolls are done server-side. This is to ensure that you will still get the rewards if an unforeseen crash or freeze happens during a Crystal opening. All Summoners have the same Crystal drop rates, no account-related statuses (level, alliance, the amount spent, etc. ) will ever affect these. Each Crystal is a new Crystal upon opening, meaning that previously opened crystals do not affect your drop rates. The drop rates shown are based on that Crystal alone. These drop rates do not convey the drop rates of multiple Crystals being opened. Only Featured Hero Crystals will have specific Champion drop rates. For Non-Featured Hero Crystals, all Champions will have the same drop rates.
With that said, Kabam Support is unable to provide further assistance regarding your drop rate concern. As there is nothing more to address in this ticket, this ticket is now solved.
Thank you again for contacting Kabam Support.
Best regards, xxx ( i removed support person name) Kabam Support
what do forum say about this ...? do you guys think this is normal..? my friend is a regular spender in the game and i am like once in a while spender. even though we are at the same level in game progression, i believe our drop rates are completely in different word. i believe kablam is having 2 pools for featured crystals one for spender another face slap for F2P players
Spent around 450, not a regular spender and I even missed Banquet last year, here are my pulls: Yes this is normal, you simply had bad luck unfortunately, it is what it is.
Buyers in this game have always had an advantage, which is of course fine. It's a necessary evil to some degree; Kabam needs money to create the game, so people who spend should gain some edge over the competition. But always that advantage is fleeting. Spenders were not buying exclusive champs and ranks so much as reaching them *earlier* than others. Eventually, we would all rank up champs to the same level, obtain the champs in enough crystal spins, and reach the same level as those those who whaled out.
Heart of Fire changed all that.
The problem is that big spenders obtained a permanent edge over the competition. As you've stated, Dark Phoenix isn't coming to our accounts any other way. It's either drop $1200 worth of units right now, or miss out. This setup wouldn't be a big deal if Dark Phoenix were a typical trophy champ. But you made her a potent defender that even against an ideal counter all but secures a BG win. For the first time ever, this game is truly pay to win. You have created a class-based system. The haves who spent now occupy a separate segment of BGs, because they retain a permanent advantage over all other players. The have-nots are relegated to the lower levels. They'll gradually lose interest, or simply grow frustrated and quit.
I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that the way you released Dark Phoenix will ruin Battlegrounds.
Spent $0 and only units to the 100pt milestone and the 7 star crystal. RNG was not in my favor. No 7 stars while opening the numerous HoF Valiants to achieve 100pts. I did pull Ibom though from the guaranteed 7 star and am good with that.

We don't have different drop rates based on spending. There are free to play players on the forums who shared their 7 Star pulls in only their free Crystals - there's always going to be variance, that's just how statistics work.
Thanks for the response. but i really would like to know how your statistics work..? i opened 200+ crystals as of now and received only 2 7stars from it.. and at any point i should be receiving a fair rewards right... ? i am opening these crystals to get to fantman and apoc and no mater whatever i do i am not reaching there. by doing this i already reached 400 points in the event. could you please suggest how to get these champions . thanks,
This would have been an amazing opportunity to add that sympathy system in you guys tried out a while back, where every 10 valiant crystals guaranteed you a 7 star.. like others have said I too had terrible luck and it has made me rethink this game 6k units and no 7 stars, but I did get fantman from the Guaranteed 7 star crystal. But the dark phoenix implementation is a huge L, let her be EARNED via content or something as she's too advantageous for those who simply Bought her.. I took a survey you guys posted me a few weeks back and alot of the questions seemed geared up to "does p2ws feel fair" And then here we go with the dark phoenix drop
I spent 12,000 units, all grinded as I'm F2P, and left with nothing but a sig 40 Apoc. All I wanted was Future Antman- even had a tech gem, R4 mats, several sig stones and a relic ready for him. Not only did I not get him, I only got my least favorite champ in the pool three times.
My personal feedback from this event: The 7 star crystals should have been gacha boxes. At least that way you don't duplicate the same champ over and over again from the pool of 5 (shoutout to the guy that maxed out the event and STILL didn't get 1 of each champ).
Also, you guys should give far more advance notice of the champs coming to the pool. Had I known earlier that my literal favorite champ Future Antman was coming to the crystal, I would have saved more, but with the amount of time granted us it was impossible to grind more units than I did, and it was still completely worthless.
On the topic of notice, you should also be clear when these champs will return to the basic pool. The Omega Days champs are STILL not obtainable anywhere, how much more these new champs? What happened to transparency?
I presume we can expect an event of this sort at this time every year from now on, so I'll be saving in accordance (unless there isn't, but I don't think @KabamDORK said anything about this being a regularly scheduled event)
All in all, thanks for nothing, I guess. You once again tempt me to ditch this game for Rivals, but I shan't quit just yet.

Burned all my units, but def worth it. Great job Kabam!
