the new aw map is easy. all you gotta do is read and understand how to do it. Anyways, we gotta deep dive how difficult it will be once the ban system is in place. Will you still considered it easy once we have 5-7 attackers banned
There's really nothing wrong with the new war, you just won't be able to use her favorite champs all the time. I like that we have to bring different counters then we normally would
The old AW is/was cancerous. I’ve been playing since the beginning with a couple breaks here and there. It’s actually one of the main reasons I kept taking breaks. It’s so incredibly costly and stressful to be competitive in war and if you’re not getting top tier rewards it’s not worth the effort at all. The rewards don’t give any incentive for basically anyone below masters or maybe top plat to even bother. Then take into account the fact Kabam has said in the past they’re intentionally trying to create more deaths. Because that’s healthy right? Maybe this format is a little too bare bones, perhaps they need a healthy medium (maybe 2-3 fights?) but taking 4-7 extremely difficult stressful nodes designed to try and kill you for minuscule rewards is not fun for most people. I’m still on the fence about the new format, but as long as war exists as it always has I never want to touch it.
I hate this new AW. AW was fine. AQ is the boring and useless format. I have ranked multiple champs up simply because they could be decent war defenders and be useful for diversity. They are now completely useless to me. Plus the format is dull, dull, dull and oh, dull. I've been playing the game for years and have rolled with every change, but his one really has me scratching my head and feeling frustrated.
So I didn't now it till half way through my first war that in Tier 6 war, I can do every single fight if I wanted. I was waiting around to see where I was needed but I saw that my teammates had taken more than one fights and it quickly dawn on me that I can just take any or every fight if I wanted. This makes AW less of a team thing and more of individual thing. One player can litterally take all the fights if they wish. Not sure if that's intended in Tier 6 AW.

Yes, idk what this thing we're going now is but it’s not war lol I just call it alliance raids personally
