Who to use 4* Awakening Gem on?

I have five 4* heroes: War machine, Howard the duck, Magik (thinking of using on her), Venom, and Crossbones. Should I use it on one of them or save it until I get another better hero? And can you tell me which hero that might be?

That's all. Magik is worth it. Or you can save it for later... but you will not regret for using it now on Magik.
