Light Essence Clarification

I’m hearing light essence won’t convert on the forums. But Karate Mike on today’s Livestream said they will convert to the new Shadow Essence

Can we please get confirmation on this?

    They never said it would convert, they said that the offers and acquisition methods for Light Essence would convert to the new essence

    Your light essence you own will not convert. All methods of getting light essence will convert after June 4th

    “CONVERT” is probably a wrong term for that.

    Assume that means the places you would earn them will start to give out the NEW essence.
    (you could call that “Updating” the rewards, rather than Convert)

    But nothing is being Converted.
