Alliance war sucks!

Bring back the old alliance war format. The new set up is just the same as the raids. We leveled up and rank up our champs as our defenders then suddenly it has no use anymore.

Personally, I'm really enjoying the new war format for a change.
One path and one strong defender. Read the nodes properly and the fights are quite easy. Plus you can complete it quickly and get your champions back for other content.

The new war format is absolutely stupid. I’m no longer able to participate in attack, since my top champs don’t do any significant damage. I’ll be forced to leave my alliance b/c of this.

AW used to be my favorite part of the game, now I absolutely despise it. I don’t want the game to be easy. I enjoy being challenged and working to advance in the contest. Unfortunately it seems that Kabam has made so much of the game so difficult that you can’t really move
Forward unless you invest serious money into leveling up your champs so that they can put a fight up against these ridiculously buffed defenders. The end result of this shift is that I am losing interest in playing a game that I have loved for so many years. I can’t imagine that there aren’t so many other players who feel the way I do.

I would like a 30 defender format, it would be jampacked with good defenders and a feel of actual war, just reduce a path to half, keep it a 9 player war with 1 back up

If you don’t know how to figure out how to gain charges or bring the correct champ I guess it’s not for you 🤷‍♂️

That's exactly how normal war is. Except the old format you have to do 6+ fights like that. It's supposed to be hard to not die. What are you even talking about

Meanwhile everyone else:

If you can't read it's one thing, but the fights are quite doable I even did a Photon with Ironheart on the prowess node, definitely new AW > old AW for me.

@Dr_Yeti1 next war post your node and we’ll help you pick counters… my 2 cents is that nefaria and white tiger can take most nodes regardless (only a couple exceptions). If your opponents decide to ignore diversity then you have already won, but I can see this tactic as frustrating.
