New Endgame Content Sucks… Respectfully.

After 100% Necro…. which wasn’t that fun but not the worst either… and Epoch which was very unenjoyable imo… the endgame content has only gotten more unenjoyable and frustrating each time. This new event is the opposite of what ‘fun’ is in a game. Hours long, revive dump endgame quests are as fun as doing essays or pulling hairs out of your head.
Long content that limits your pool of champions, Makes you have to plan out your run so you don’t mess up near the end by not having a good counter so you have to restart… a long quest like this x3… for a R4, a titan, a 7* selector and an awakening gem…. hell nah. What’s better than doing content that isn’t fun and is only frustrating…. NOT doing it at all 😎 spend my time doing something fun and enjoyable instead.

Expect most of the new bosses for Everest or Story to be immune to both or everything 😂
With WoF, well, first of all I should probably say that I've only tried fighting the first two bosses. Got a solo on my first attempt agaisnt Gorr with Count Nefaria and then got wrecked in about 20 second against Dazzler with my Knull. That being said, from what little I've played and from looking ahead a little, I don't see a problem with the format itself. It all seems pretty fun to me.
I do have a problem with the reward structure, though. I don't really mind there being an "easy", "medium" and ultra hard quest, but I just hate quest setups where I have to beat a lower-level version of the same quest before being able to jump up to another difficulty and do it all again. It feels like the Everest content equivalent to those dreadful Legens celebration quests where you first had to a Contender-level chapter to unlock a Proven-level chapter, and so on and so forth, until you eventually came to your progression-level's chapter where the only relevant rewards were. I always found those types of quest super boring and seeing them make a return in endgame content isn't something I'm terribly excited by.
By the time I have one of these champions the value of the rewards could go down a lot. Kabam, if they are going to require you NEED a limited option of champions for the content, should make THOSE champions available. I used my radiance to try and get Storm (only way I could find a possibility to gain one of the needed champions) so instead of saving up for the mastery point I wanted, I attempted to get a 1 in 6 chance for Storm (didn't get here fyi. I'm sure that's no surprise) and I couldn't finish the content while wasting saved up resources.
IMO, content like these drives away interest from gamers as it's 'have the right champs or you can't play'. And the VAST majority of players will not have the champs to make this content playable.
Since 2015 I've supported many questionable things with this game. This content is by far the biggest downfall I've seen.
