Battlegrounds match making nonsense

Battleground season 29 has been the toughest so far?

I am a paragon player currently in Vibranium V in battlegrounds

1. Incorrect ranking for GC players falling into lower bucket and making battlegrounds a nightmare for lower level players.
2. @KabamPinwheel I don’t understand the matchmaking logic at all. I mean my 6* rank3 champions fighting against deck full of 7* rank 3??
Before someone say must 2 or 3 matches.. No, I must have played more than 50 matches in Vibranium V and only one or two had the same level champions as mine. Rest all were either first 3 7* rank 4 or all 7* rank 3. Take a look at the attachment

A simple PI check could work? Or at least show the champions level before entering into a match from where I can exit without loosing energy or elder marks.

A better question is why was a paragon able to get into vibranium with seemingly little difficulty this early in the season

I was in URU VI last season. Had perfect deck for last meta. Started this season with Diamond II

I am in the same league as you are. I finished Uru 6 last season and this time it’s absolute nightmare for me. I am at Vibranium 4 and now it seems this is the limit for me. I just don’t play battleground anymore. I hope next season’s meta will be easier and try again to reach gladiator circuit that time.

I don't know whether to be amused or sad at the number of players who play BG towards the start of the season, think it is too hard, and quit before the end of the season (and yes, I'm aware we are just past the mid point of the season).

On the one hand, it is sad that players are doing the exact wrong thing and sabotaging their own game experience. On the other hand, BG is a competition, and I suppose actually understanding how the game mode works is in and of itself a competitive advantage that some players will possess and others won't.

Can you explain more ? Maybe I will understand the how this game mode works.

Look up how a competition works and then apply that to this

That’s where you’re supposed to have started if you made it to GC last season.
