Reworked champs being sold through double track

I have been playing this game for over 10 years now, we are all well aware about the time when Kabam came up with the idea of reworking useless champs and it was informed there will be 2 champs reworked every month, which eventually reduced to one and then stopped completely
Now the same rework of old champs is being sold at $ 29.99.
When double tracks were first introduced, it used to be a once a year thing and costed less.
Now we have a new double track every three months
Want to use old champs who are reworked? Buy the double track.
Want to get Eidols? Buy the double track.
Why has no one been talking about this?

Much better than the newer, more alarming, pattern of introducing highly sought after champions as 7*s and then selling them for £500-£1000 a pop. At least this way we get good champions for cheap and even those that choose not to spend know that the reworked champs end up in crystals soon anyways, who knows when DF and HT will come to basics? The answer is not for a couple years, by then they’ll be basically useless no doubt.
But at least double track heroes goes into Titan then basic.
Darkphoenix and Eidols getting sold. That's fiine too.
The champion monetization Tragedy lies in:
OmegaDays, GiftedGuardian, Red Guardian, hof and Torch.
Filthy greed.
$30 + the reworked champion
It costs $30 because is running for 3 months, before it was 1 month for $10, they reduced a bit of units but it is still a great deal
Not talking cyclops or bastion or dazzler. These champs join titan and then Basic.
It's damn greedy to paywall old champs like red guardian, Torch, fam, fury and the others.
- it’s low in cost
- it encourages daily play
- It gives them more encouragement to do reworks through financial game. Kabam is a company at the end of the day. Everything they do is done because they have money to do it, if they can’t see a investment back in what they use, then whats the point of actually doing it?
- It’s not ground breaking and you will eventually get the champs in either titan or basic if you choose not to go for them. I never went for cyclops and one month later i got him from titan (he was amazing in path 5 of epoch)
Whales are leaving the game because of how mismanaged it is right now.
If they lose mid spenders because of this, it’s over.
I don’t understand how you can take a hugely successful game and just trash it.
It would have been fine.
