Lags? Oh you mean this guy?
The funniest part is when he tries to justify his hypocrisy lmfao if the deals are so bad then you don't need to spend to keep up since y know they're bad and a flop.
there's nothing hypocritical about it. an offer can be both necessary and poor value at the same time. he's getting it to be competitive in the summoner showdown and mcoc/youtube also is his job.
The state of battlegrounds post heat wave sales is fine
Winning nonstop LOL
It is definitely fine for arcane and below players after every damn sales. The minority 1% who competed for top ranks are the ones who complain bout whale rosters. It's lucky for us the majority don't have to deal with whales.

Moving aside from Lags or KT1 or any other content creator or their motivations, the basic idea you're parroting that the deals are bad value but also necessary to be competitive is illogical. If the deals are really bad, then you shouldn’t need them to stay competitive—because if you do need them, that means they actually have value, and they’re not bad.
It's like some people don't understand that value in this game comes from "relative advantage." If the current deals give you an advantage over other players, then those deals are valuable. That's why people buy the deals.
The "value" complaint you're probably thinking of is actually not a complaint about value at all, but rather a complaint about the ridiculously high price of maintaining a competitive edge in this game.

Yeah, I think the expensive rosters start to show around the Q/M intersection.
Also, as much as I hate this invade meta, which I call "the Kate-Off" (whose Kate is faster), I will acknowledge that it's giving 6*s a last gasp before their dying embers are completely stamped out. Some of the best attackers in this meta are 6s, so a lot of more modest players actually have a better than normal chance at some of these matches.
But after this meta ends and all the Kates, Hercs, Valks, etc., go back to people's benches, then we'll see the full effects of P2W.
This is an unfortunate point. These last few weeks I've found myself doing the 4* arena more than any of the others. I have run into death squads of R4 Dark Phoenix, Serpent and one other (often Sinister or Bullseye) so many times that is not worth bothering.

That’s the thing. He can’t because to competition for the brawl. He need it even though it bad. He has 9 r4 he’s behind a lot. Of. Offer spenders
He said the deals are bad, he doesn't need to buy bad deals because bad deals would do nothing for him. You can't say they're bad and then go ahead and say nvm they actually are decnt because if I don't buy them then I won't be able to compete, if that was the case then the deals weren't all that bad after all since you desperately need them to keep up, you're just a crybaby.

So they aren't bad deals since he needed them after all. Just because he thinks they're a flop doesn't mean they are, if he's buying them and they're a must get for him then his opinion on the matter is wrong and they're not actually a flop. Prices might be dumb, but they're not a flop.

This is exactly my point, how can they argue the deals are bad and then they rush to buy them and go "oh I had to because I gotta keep up and get those r4s" it makes absolutely no sense. If you got multiple r4s out of the deals which are currently the main focus for every endgame player then they aren't bad because if they were then you wouldn't need them, no amount of parroting or wording is going to change this because it's common sense lol.

to be honest the deal wasn't bad but it just cost a lot of money and many people apparently expect 3 to 4 gems in odin packs I don't understand that the unit could ben better

I don't think anyone other than Lagacy expected one r4 gem per Odin's lol and yes the prices could've been better but the final offers and everything you got after going over the $600 mark was actually pretty decent. I don't have an issue with the prices or the deals themselves but I do have an issue with whales getting multiple r4s and Kabam screwing over the rest of the playerbase including low spenders so for that reason I didn't whale out fully, I did however spend some so I'm not going to cry about it cause it'd be hypocritical of me to do that.

Bad value or less value does not mean no value. The deals can be bad value but still provide an advantage. Value is relative not only to other individuals, but also to previous gains made by participating in sales. If you think of the overall value of dollars spent in an event as a banded range, you can achieve the top value of that range and thus the greatest competitive advantage by maxing out. That doesn't mean the overall range of value is as high at peak as previous events or as large of a competitive advantage as maxing out in previous events.

Yeah, it's not really about any one specific deal, but the cumulative impact of the various offerings by Kabam. So it's not just that big spenders now have 15-19 R4s. They also got Dark Phoenix, Red Guardian, Torch, Lumatrix, etc. They also paid God knows how much to get the pre-release champs (Nico, Karolina) who again are great for BG. And they bought up all the sig stones, all the Paragon deals, basically everything in sight.
So yeah, it's no longer just venting by the normal malcontents about the direction of the game. Established and reasonable members of the community are talking about this. People like Nick136, simula, Trap before he retired...
Someone said they could do 7 r4s buying every deal. Which included: All unit valiant offers. (39k units) All cash deals valiant + paragon or tb consisnting 7* rankup resources.
