Viv has a pretty funky ( some would say “awkward”) loop, but lots of utility and some unique stuff like phase on parry that we haven’t seen anywhere else. I think of her as a niche champ with a very successful design.
Sabretooth - just a faster ramp and more bleed damage Nightrasher - more for damage and some utility Anti venom - should shut down wp on defense, more damage. Utility is there Dr voodoo, my favourite one I'm personally excited, definitely see a lot of potential in him, might make him similar to kushala Cull - BACK TO HIS PRE NERF.
HOW DARE YOU!! Anti Venom was my go to source of willpower healing back when I did map 5. I loved fighting him lol. I could start the fight at 20% and finish at 80% if I just stalled lol

Yes, he inflicts like 3 debuffs which do nothing it's just a joke whenever I see antivenom in a quest it really makes me happy, free health potion right there.
Forgot Voodoo exists sometimes. That guy had one of the best utilities in the game and carried Act 5. I remember using my first 5 star generic on him and then became my first R3.
Oh great, another group of 6 champions to gamble to get the best and be plagues by the rest in bg. How fun
These will be available in a selector, likely a couple of crystals and will move to the basic very quickly
Which model of group release do you think they’ll be following? This seems like the “six retuned champs” format from banquet but those aren’t available anywhere else yet, right?
Honestly, I'm not particularly fond of any of the champs in this list, EXCEPT Voodo, Their play styles are just not my cup of tea. That doesn't mean i think these champs are bad, there's more than 300 champs now and its only reasonable there are some I'm very fond of and others I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.
But hey tune ups are always appreciated and I'm sure the people that like these champs are very happy
they seem similar to last year reunion champs for acquisition , but the tune up style might be similar to banquet 2024 champs. if thts the case then its very exciting, as reunion champs ( p2099, manthing, ihulk , misty knight, white mags , venompool ) were added without any changes .

This Is literally this year's version of the legends/ reunion pools which both got added to the basic i believe within 3 months at absolute most
I'm for sure the most excited about Dr. Voodoo. With that being said, I've always wanted to get into Viv. For whatever reason, I never got around to it, but hopefully I can pick her up and this will be that time.
Give Cull an AW/BGs clause in his kit like other champs to make him viable for competitive modes? "When used in Alliance War or Battlegrounds ABC XYZ..." Or something Trouble with ramp champs is.. well, they are ramp champs and basically excluded from completive play Even Solo content is moving away from them.. either the quests are short and/or not difficult or long and there's a mandatory swap node
Would've preferred in they made squirrel girl the skill option she's the one who would make most sense for a "tune up" whereas night trashed actually needs ALOT of things changed
Finally, if there is a selector like there was last year IM DEFINITELY picking viv regardless of who turns out the best cos my tech roster is miserable and I like her mechanics. I love the parry phase, allows her to finish at full health alot of times.
There better be a selector because there gave out one last year when literally all the champs were garbage.
I’ve only seen anti venom ever do well once and that was in that regen bgs meta. Grass took down a serpent with him, but yeah he needs a tune up so badly

They probably won't do anything with her because of that vote she lost recently, it would make the vote kinda pointless and the buff would be out even before X-23's
Not really interested in Viv, Anti-Venom and Night Thrasher but Cull, Voodoo and Sabretooth I am really hyped about. Cull has to he #1 for me he has everything in his kit to deal with current tech meta defenders they just need to fix that noodle block proficiency and his ramp.

Squirrel girl lost the vote, and I would argue in their current states night Thrasher is better than her honestly

There's been selectors for the last 2 years, and saying last years champions were garbage is pretty wild

Lotta daylight between garbage and great. I think I’ve got them all by now, P99 occasionally gets used on defense and Wags as a wingman. The rest, just parked somewhere in the middle of the ever-lengthening bench of champs.

Still don't understand what's up with Kamala Khan that she needs to be 7* urgently
