Is playing Marvel of Champions a fultime Job?

I just want to share my opinion on the current situation. The game is basically a second full-time job for me.
Battle Grounds
I'm not an experienced player, but I've been able to keep up for the past two seasons. As soon as I reached 100 points in the Gladiator Circle, I stopped playing. I was able to do that in about 10 days. Now I'm in the situation where I've lost about 9 fights in a row, and it's a struggle to get any higher.

I bought a few items during the Fourth of July sale. Does that have anything to do with it? I don't know. But with the radiance in the game, I'm forced to do it.
In addition, I have to do all the side quests: Alliance War, Incursion, Valiant EQ, etc. It's just a lot and frustrating (bugs, boring, and long content).
I force myself to do it because I want rewards, level up Campion, and open Crystals.
I should note that I'm not playing Battlegrounds well. I understand that Battlegrounds is a competitive space and its just not for me.
But in general, I find that the different modes are getting harder and longer, while the rewards remain the same. I don't want to play compulsively after having my full-time job. Please just make the content entertaining/fun and keep the difficult and long stuff in the end game content.

I'm an alliance leader and I have first hand interactions with almost 30 valiants in my alliance
50% of the valiants that join my alliance quit playing after 1 month despite my alliance having very minimal play requirement
I have to constantly kick valiants from my alliance bcos they totally stopped playing
It's very frustrating when valiants join my alliance and totally don't play, parking is a very real thing, they don't inform you when they stopped playing and I have to make a guess whether they have quit the game already or not
Sometimes the player comes back online after a few days and asked why I kicked them, I'm like at least inform me if you are taking a break but they don't have the decency to do so in the first place
Right now, my alliance have no minimum requirement
Previously in the new AW, I have valiants who can't even do 1 fight, I have to think constantly do I kick those players out, 1 fight in 2 days and they can't even play
Now, I enlisted in 3 BG for nightmare raids bcos I don't know how many players wants to play, I have 22 joined and I can't do anything about the third BG with 2 players
There is absolutely no reason to.
You can play the game however and as much as you want.
Not sure why people don’t get this.
What would make you think you do?
You’re not going to keep up with the countach folk.
They’re ridiculous.
I don't care about the game bcos my account is 7.9 million and I don't lack any resources
I'm not competitive battlegrounds player as well so I just play casually for fun
The third valiant completed the match and lost to me nonetheless
That's how I get by in battlegrounds, by getting free wins from smaller valiants
What’s your contribution to this thread?
OP, asking if it’s a full time job.
Did you full time to get where you are?
I already said I agreed with the time commitment and I designed my alliance to reduce the load on my members and I have to carry my alliance everyday
What's your contribution to this thread other than to question others' contribution?
I know this bcos of the large number of valiants joining my alliance and many stopped playing
Kabam has the data as well about the number of valiants who dropped off after becoming valiant
You’re absolutely right. kabaam has the data.
It's within your choice to do so
The rewards aren't that game changing anyway
It’s not the game itself that feels like a job — it’s all the extra stuff that comes with it. Ever thought about how much time you’re spending on forums, Reddit, MCOC YouTube content, Twitch streams, etc.?
I’m guilty of it too. But lately, I’ve been reflecting on this and actively trying to cut back. It’s not really a “problem” per se — it’s just that love for the game turns into an obsession with finishing **everything** the moment it drops.
When new content releases, I can easily spend 10 hours on it in a single day. That *should* mean I’m done for the month, right? But nope — I still end up logging 3–4 hours **every single day** afterward.
And honestly, sometimes I catch myself spending *more* time reading forums or watching content *about* MCOC than actually playing it. Why do I need to know what's happening in every random forum user's game/life? 😂 Yet here I am, reading the good, the bad, and the downright dumb posts.

### The Plan (which I’m definitely starting... right after this post 😅):
1. Limit game time:
➡ Weekdays – Max 2 hours/day
➡ Sundays – Unlimited (go wild)
➡ Saturdays – Optional, light play [Damn it gpt that's included in weekdays]
2. Don’t rush content
➡ Most content/events stay for at least a week or a month, sometimes permanently.
➡ You don’t have to finish it on Day 1. Chill. Breathe. Take your time, seriously.
3. Forum time cap:
➡ 10 minutes/day max.That’s more than enough.
➡ Only check News & Announcements. No more bookmarking endless threads.
4. MCOC content (YouTube/Twitch):
➡ Only watch when I need war fight strategies, or if there's a stream with drops.
➡ No more casual binge-watching for hours.

I’m not sure if anyone else will follow this plan, but I need to — for my own sanity. 😄
And please don’t quote this if you reply, I’ll probably cringe reading it again lol.
Also… no, I didn’t proofread it. That’s GPT’s job now. 🙃

Let me know if you want a shorter version or one formatted for posting in a forum thread. Nope I don't. Let 'em waste a some time:D
