Kabam NERFED MYSTERYIUM store(100% true)

MontycarloMontycarlo Member Posts: 132 ★★
This is not a rant video it is the truth. I'm someone who struggles with gold as Valinet and I know for a fact gold +iso used to cost 500 but now it's 600 WITHOUT ANY BUFF to good or iso in the deal? Anybody seeing this?
Also it's literally the same t6b and t3A in the store and what the h they are even thinking updating 7* shards from 500 to 625? Really was that even worth it? Are u guys serious? We need 7 t6b and 7t3a to take a 7* to r2 and ignoring r3 and 4s why the f Mysterium store not even giving atleast 4-5 of each of these cats? If not full 7? What the hell was the point of this buff entire community is fed up with the shortage of the cats as VALIENTs.

At least now you only need to spend 9k per week, because only one bundle is not trash value.

    Was thinking exactly this!

Yep so our overall mysterium holdings have been buffed

The 9000 Mysterium Offer has to be a mistake. There's no other explanation.

I think one of two things happened:
    • This is supposed to be Stat Cast Relic shards, in which case - ok, I get it.
    • The 5* Relic Shard amount from Bundle 2 was put in this place in error. It should have been 2 or 3 Alpha Selectors.
If it was 2 relic selectors in this bundle (like the updated 5500 mysterium bundle) we could view this as a marginal upgrade.

They also should have bumped up the gold on Bundle 6 to 400K with the price increase.

Why get now only 18k? We always get 27k and should get even more because kabam dont give us Any last week So… another ****up by kabam? Why im not suprise🤣

Same question we also missed last mysterium Karate mike said that will be covered in rest of the 3 weeks that we should get 36k mysterium per for 3 weeks

I think this was utter BS update to the store. It's literally a nothing burger they increased the cost and likly increased the shards and items by 10% and now giving us less mysterium then previously every week also did anybody cared they took 2 weeks worth of mysterium giving excuse that the side quest is needed to sync.

There used to be two bundles I bought - both of them were mainly for the T6b/T3a. Buying the 2 bundles 4x netted me 4x T6b/T3a, and then whatever came with it (Some 7-star shards, and then a bunch of T2a that just expires into overflow).

Now, it seems they have collapsed the T6b/T3a into one bundle (since one purchase gets you 2x; buying it twice gets you 4x). The new 7-star bundle doesn't seem worth it to me at all as it is more expensive with negligible amounts within it (like others have pointed out, why is it 5-star relic shards that people don't care for)?

So, potentially I will need to spend less Mysterium to get the same amount of T6b/T3a, but the changes overall make this an uninteresting store.

When did the original traders outpost even release? Because there is no way Kabam thinks that, after all that time, the rewards only needed to be buffed by that insignificant amount. This has got to be an April fool's prank or something

    No idea about date.
    It came before first saga.

If this is it, it never should’ve been advertised as an upgrade or an update to the current meta.

I can get more t6cc in a week for throwing nine bg matches than an entire week of successfully completing sidequest content 100%.

Don't give em ideas to change the BG store man...

Gonna add the positive while we are in here.
    1/2 t3a is good for 2 objectives.

It just feels as if the Trader's Outpost now has a fairly low amount of valuable rewards nestled into a lot of different bundles that you have to pick and choose from, which means that it doesn't even add up to a satisfying whole in the end. If there were, say, 5 random class sig stones in the bundle with the lone t5b and the exalted shards, I might be more inclined to buy that. However, just a single random stone? I find that so incredibly unappealing, especially since I get a daily Nexus from the DSE. And suddenly one of the biggest addition to the store becomes moot. I might still pick up the generic stones but that would require me to find the Mysterium to do so, and I'm not sure if that's there.

I feel like Kabam has lost the thread with Mysterium. When it was first introduced, it seemed to be a SQ reward replacement that lets you pick what you want. They no longer had to create themed stores each month (I remember there was an Odin type store one month), plus the rewards were pretty good.

Now? It seems like the rewards are going back to the SQ (either in the terms of objectives or what you get from the path). So the Mysterium store is still there, but its purpose seems to be adrift - it doesn't provide the exciting rewards from SQ, it seems less varied than other stores (like even the Glory store), and like you mentioned almost everything in the store is replicated by the DSE.

The only reasoning I can find to this change is the "balance" of the economy with new sources of radiance and the radiance store. In a way it makes sense if you really think about it, the only problem is that mysterium comes from a casual game mode, and radiance doesn't.

I have a question related to an answer I got on another thread about relic shards. Is padding this bundles in the traders outpost with relic material taking any positive value on the deals? Cause I was told relics were not affected by reward budget. If this is true then the bundles are worse than what they show and the prices went up for no reason at all
(I like how they double up on some things. I had a heated argument asking why they gave us discontinued rewards, they decide to sell them inside the game). Yay more sources of ember
