Idk if they dont have the tech for it or what, but man skins like how future fight has would be so fire 😫 and they can monetize the hell out of it everytime a new marvel movie drops they would love that. Like with the new fantastic 4 movie we get the retro suit skins, it makes every roster unique. They already changed black panther's skin, iron man, etc. instead of making goofy new game modes we can get skins with like very small ability changes kinda like relics

No. A new skin is just a new champion in this game. Hence why we have multiple hulk iron man etc.

We already have different versions of champions (Spidermen, Hulks, Iron Men) in game. New skins would be purely asthetic and don't offer any new abilities, while new Champion variations bring in different abilities

Go play fortnite my man or valorant or something. We have 2 champs coming every month in updates. Its gonna be difficult to add skins and just does not make sense.
If you want a marvel game with skins..go play Marvel Future fight. It has added so many addons thats its so complicated to play now.

Skins wouldn't be great bcos everyone would choose dark or black skin to blend in with the dark, dimly lit background to gain an advantage in battlegrounds

You can't see properly so you can't react properly to the AI

That's what happening in other games where every little bit of advantage is exploited to win

I have a better idea on the champ abilities menu give us an option of black and white image of that champ and give us colour to fill on our own kinda like painting and after we finished give us an option to compare the painted one with the original and then we can take ss of that and use whenever we want
It is definitely better than skins because you can colour them as your desire

So for a long time, I also doesn't feel that the idea of Alternative Costume was the right thing for MCOC, as Kabam business was based on selling champs.

However I actually think it might worth considering this avenue for the future. So what changed?

Before we have alternatives champions release like, Cyclops (Blue and Red), Magneto (Red and White), Ms and Cap Marvel.

However in recent years this seem to have stopped, yes we still got same characters in different costumes, but for me they feel like different universe variants, like Dare Devil and DDHK, Black Widow OG and BWDS, they are from different universe/alterative story, with different power.

So what Kabam can do is, extra Costume/Skin for look that doesn't change their power. Anything that is an alternative story or change their power then it is new champs, like Spiderman and Symbiote Spiderman

For example Cyclops:-

Anythings circled in Blue can be extra new costume/skin for Blue Cyclop

Circled in Red could be new champs.

This is something that players might actually want and would help with Kabam business and game eco.

For example, each month Kabam release 1 new champ and 1 new costume/skin for a champ (new skin is only visual no new ability add).

This will enable Kabam to also create new "rare" exclusive chase item, but at the same time does not break the game eco like, Dark Phoenix or HT.

We could still have whale, but when facing those accounts we can all marvel at how cool the alternative skin they have in the dex and not how game breaking champs they have.

We know that players here are playing and spend not because they all want to be the best and bigger accounts, we are just mainly grown up people and want to collect or Superhero Comic characters from our youth, and people will pay for new Skin/Costumes.

I would love a Cyclops skin in comic style (Jim Lee), with colouring like the comic. A bit like Spider Ham and Spider Punk feel, a character just jump out of a comic book.
