I didn't like the secondary event. Although it's faster, it depends a lot on luck, but at least it uses energy. I actually liked the Arcade event, but I think there should be more entries per day.
I liked what they were going for but I wish they weren't so damn grindy. As someone who does AQ and BGs daily, this just felt like too much, rewards were nice and the mini games were neither bad nor good but it was just way too much grind imo.
On their own, as their own games, i'd say they are somewhat interesting. But for a game where we collect champs, rank and use strategically to progress/grow our account... These both feel out of place and mind numbingly boring, and grindy for very little reason.
It just depends on whether you are a fan of a particular genre or not.
I like incremental games and have played a lot of them. So I kinda liked that event. Though, I am not a fan of the old arcade style visuals.
I have never liked TCG or any card games in general so, that event was no go for me.
Though I like how they are trying to incorporate these mini games of different genres, it cannot be denied that it disregards your entire knowledge of this game.
I would honestly like mcoc to stay it's original way, without these mini games.

i get where you're coming from, especially with enjoying incremental games — but the problem isn't just about genre preference. it's that these events are being injected into mcoc in ways that ignore what makes the core gameplay special.
doom cycle might feel familiar if you like idle games, but in this context, it strips away all the decision-making, mastery, and champion strategy that define mcoc. it’s not that it’s a bad genre — it’s that it doesn’t fit here. and when kabam puts these experiments front and center, it risks normalizing low-effort, low-engagement content that has no real place in this game.
so even if someone likes the mechanics elsewhere, being okay with them here just opens the door for more diluted content that pushes mcoc further from what made it great in the first place. liking a genre shouldn't mean settling for it in the wrong space.

your takes contradict each other. first it was the easiest titan shards of your life, now it’s too grindy? you also said in another post that you don’t care if the content’s garbage as long as rewards are shiny. your opinions are just worthless.
I don't think doom cycle is perfect and it absolutely could do with a more comprehensive guide as to what certain things do, but after building up a character to a decent level its pretty satisfying. There's quirks to it that I don't love and think that things like attack delay should be displayed visually during a match but im having more fun with it the more I play

of course you’re having more fun the more you play, that’s how stockholm syndrome works. just because your brain found a way to tolerate a poorly explained, completely out-of-place mode doesn’t mean it belongs. if you want to build up characters and wait for cooldown timers and rng fighting, there’s 50 idle games on the app store built for that. lets not ruin this game.
People see the rewards and forget about the opportunity costs - the existence of Poker and Turn Based RPG means we don't get to play MCOC. Last year, we would have a SQ and something like Summer of Suffering to give us rewards plus this MCOC experience. This year we just have rewards without any MCOC experience.
Having one of them in a month would be fine; having two in a month makes me feel like I'm no longer playing MCOC.

Mannn, it's about time we start another SoP/EoP. It takes atleast a year to finally reach epoch 2.0. It is already a well received endgame content.

1. Easy and grindy are not the same, the game mode itself was easy but I had to run the same thing like 50 times to collect everything which felt like a slog and very repetitive, it can be both easy and grindy at the same time because they are not the same thing. 2. I said I couldn't care less if you think it's garbage or not, not that I personally think it's garbage. I said to me it's meh literally on that same thread after that reply you posted, which means neither good nor bad, the only reason I leaned more towards liking it than disliking it were the rewards.
You didn't really say anything I hadn't already said on that same thread. Crazy that you're still malding two days later, but if that helps you sleep at night, have at it lmao.

I'm not getting pulled into your rant lmao. I know it's hard for you to believe but people can like what you dislike
This month and the july month clearly showed that kabam is eating more than they can chew. Instead of trying to fix the age old problems and bugs they are doing these unnecessary antics.
The kingpin degen bug in alliance war showcase is still not fixed even though it's been almost a month since it came out.
The monetization of the new mode clearly shows that they want to siphon as much money as possible. The entire 2025 was like that with every event.
It almost feels like an rug pull scheme
Instead of trying to do everything to squeeze as much money as possible, they should focus on improving the core experience. Else this game won't even survive 2 years with this much whale milking.

Found a way to dupe tokens in the new mode but it's still trash for only limiting us to 3 daily tries.

I appreciate the attempt to innovate, but both events felt like “something to do to burn time.”
