Elder marks

What is the point in getting elder marks if the solo objective has gone, or has it only gone for me? Or have I missed something?

    It’s gone for everyone. Elder Marks are only meaningful for the Alliance Event, which really needs a buff. Elder Marks in the games current state are pretty meaningless.

    I agree that they are pretty much useless as something that actively rewards you the way they used to back in the solo event days, but I ran out of them after grinding in GC for the 100 points objective and I quickly found out how valuable they still are as an energy replacement. Especially with the FF Recruitment also eating up a lot of actual energy.
