Onslaught or Jean Grey to rank 3?

Finally got enough T4 Alpha to take a champion to rank 3 and become Valiant. :D
My two options are Onslaught and Jean Grey. Both are phenomenal champions, and I don't know who to take up. I like playing Jean Grey more but she's not awakened. I can use Onslaught semi-decent, and I think he's probably better overall. I also just awakened him today from a crystal too so I'm really torn.

    Jean is crazy good but for an early Valiant, Onslaught is definitely not only top 3 best mutant options but best option across all classes because of how much content he can handle and his utility so do him

    Onslaught is better than jean in all aspects. He has so much control over fights.
