The modders at the top gets banned much faster than the rest of our peasant tiers. Except for that one season when a modder was sitting on c1 for 2-3 days lol.
They have closed groups with members from kabam present. Actions are taken rather swiftly when a modder enters those realms. So, this is not a uniqe favoritism, this preference is given to all top guys and they earned that by reaching those ranks. The only modders who survive the bans are the ones who have been modding for few hours, new ones.
You guys are ignorant to the fact that top ~20-30 celestial players constantly are communicating with each other about who is playing, who is streaming, who is queuing and much much more.
Anybody who is saying that a modder needs to be banned swiftly, I suggest you to join those groups, the top cream of the competitive mode. You can't enter those as you are not in those ranks, as simple as that. ....
This post was made in bad faith. A rather selfish take on the issue. I too absolutley do not care about lagacy, but that's a personal opinion. He is just a player like us outside that opinion.
In this particular case, lagacy was streaming and he cried for help from kabam people (yes I went and watched the 5 minute of the stream), and luckily they were there. If this perosn was another celestial player, they were watching, the actions would have been the same. I don't know who has the power to ban these guys. Fintech is new, so I'll assume he can only report. Mike is not a technical dev(kinda), but he have more reach in the office. Nah is an actual Dev, I'll assume he can ban players by himself. No, I don't know how they work. .... I won't reply to popcorn, as this is not the right thread to talk about how and why these modders are allowed to roam freely. I get what you are saying... but this thread is not the one to discuss that. ....
All in all, things are different for top players. We peasants are not part of it. Thats how the world works. Make peace with it.
Incorrect information.
Bero lost the match and the points couple of months ago as quoted by OP. So not as fast as Lagacy modder got banned, in case bero's ever got banned.
You're constantly saying on all your replies that things are different for top players and we peasants are not part of it ?
Do share the rationale for why it should be different for Bero and Lagacy ?
Also do share the rationale if the top players should also get higher rewards for let's say completing wheel of date and we peasants should make peace with that too ?
I mean, is there a limit to making peace or "us peasants "should have limitless peace ?
I would never reach or want to play at these “top levels”.
Y’all are cutthroat.
But do they not adjust points based on banned players at the end of events like this? No idea how it works.
I guess that would be hard in this case as that specific modder probably stole a lot of points and possibly ranks along the way skewing the points for everyone except one player.
It is a pretty slippery slope and definitely not cut and dry.
No they don't. They take away from the cheater but the cheated is left empty handed. I believe AW is the same way, they dock points from the "cheating" alliance; but they don't give the points for winning to the cheated alliance.
Then it definitely seems a favouritism thing and breaks the competitive nature of the game mode.
Get to the top by being among the best...you'll be kabams number 1 favorite person and you can rise above the hate you get in forums. Fr
Incorrect again. Bero was number one and he lost the points as quoted by OP.

Or, they should provide periodic updates on the results of their ban activities each season. I don’t mind if some people’s opponents are banned instantly and other aren’t, that is probably just the reality of the system and circumstances. But I’d like to know what their overall efforts look like and whether they feel that they are making progress in cleaning up BGs.

I better head to the Himalayas in that case.
Was someone watching bero at that time? That depends on it. What time was he streaming. Time of the stream also matters.
Things are different for top players yes, not the speedy lagacy one, but faster than most. Their reports are taken much more seriously as they are at the top for a reason. Why do you think even before fintech joind kabam they listened to him? What's the point of that question mark, I don't even understand. Are you a peasant?
It's not different for them. It's different for all of them this brawl season. Lagacy match went to round three, before the action took place. And yes modders at the top will get banned much much faster than peasant Arcane Uru ranks.
Why are you even bringing wheel of Fate, even the noobest of noobs have completed it with spamming revives without spending. What's even the point of this?
Peace of mind is inner calling, I definitly suggest you head to Himalayas, I'm already here. Come, I'll prepare tea.

Maybe he had a typo too that you called him out on. You can call him out and I can’t call you out? Weird double standard.
It’s in a video I don’t care enough to look up.
Are there currently bugs with end game content that weren’t there when youtubers did the content?
That's your ignorance showing, his previous comment had same question marks in his statements. You being dumb has nothing to do with double standards.
Prove it, don't use made up hollow assumptions. Tou are changing the goal post, from bugs being fixed and coming back to bugs are now here when they didn't. That's what bugs are silly, they happen. 🤡 (I dont use emotes in discussions, but now I know why)

This seems too logical to actually do.
This honestly seems like the worst idea (and others have mentioned it too). Imagine someone grinds BG in uru, but I'm a terrible player. However, I spend 8 hours a day grinding just BG. I'm going to face more modders than those who go straight to arcane and camp. Should I then be comped 300+ points from all the modders they lost to and jump those who didn't fight as many modders simply because they grinded but couldn't natural progress higher? If that is how it works, I'd actually bring BG just to get those free points at the end of the season.

That's a big Imagine.
Furthermore in a game mode based on 80 percent luck(draft, the state of AI you get etc), if someone has the luck of facing all modders, we as a player based will find it easy to deal with if the said player is given extra points.

Why would I suggest you? For someone who is feeding the drama created by the drama creator. There are plenty put there.
Infamous. Was it proved ?
If yes why was he not banned ?
If no, you're again serving incorrect information.
Let me know which one is it.
You are definitly ignorant. Go see how he created a drama on Andy's and beewee just for views. You are just believing what you see. You don't know the story either. My mistake, its whay expected from brainwashed youtuber fans.

I better head to the Himalayas in that case.
This was the first instance of immediate modder ban. Also bero calls most legit players modders when he lose, He has done it many times to drive views. He creates drama out of thin air.
His words are as good as broken record at this point. A crying wolf ffs
Himalayas calling.
Please, make up your mind before putting a question mart on a statement.
But anyway, that request is not plausible.
Before you grammar police, check your own.
Still waiting for your reply on the examples of the issues that got fixed and came back after.
You can call him out and I can’t call you out?
Weird double standard.
It’s in a video I don’t care enough to look up.
Are there currently bugs with end game content that weren’t there when youtubers did the content?
Prove it, don't use made up hollow assumptions.
Tou are changing the goal post, from bugs being fixed and coming back to bugs are now here when they didn't.
That's what bugs are silly, they happen. 🤡
(I dont use emotes in discussions, but now I know why)

Just for the sake of argument, you know who you are siding up with?
Furthermore in a game mode based on 80 percent luck(draft, the state of AI you get etc), if someone has the luck of facing all modders, we as a player based will find it easy to deal with if the said player is given extra points.
Also you asked for an example of an issue that was taken care of and came back. I gave you one.

Are you crazy or somthing?
What did kabam fixing a bug had to do with youtuber favourtism? The bugs were brought up in the forums and discord. Not because of top youtubers, but because of the Community.
This is a competitive part of the game, and that one move gave an unfair advantage.
You don’t see that?
