DDHK Stick's Apprentice and Red Skull block

Shouldn't a max sig DDHK avoid the direct damage from hitting Red Skull's block while in Stick's Apprentice mode? I tested it out but does not work unfortunately.

I remember thinking years ago that buffed King Groot wouldn't take damage as he's immune to power burn but yet still takes the direct damage, while DDHK reduces passive degeneration and direct damage when striking the opponent at max sig in stick mode.

    It isnt a direct damage effect probably

    All power burn/power drain immune champions (Galan, Hulkling, King Groot etc.) will take that direct damage if they hit red skull's block.

    As for DDHK, maybe it's attacks that hit the opponent, not their block? Also his sig ability's a bit confusing.

    For DDHK, I think you're right. I tested fighting Electro and while in Stick's mode, he did not take any damage for making contact with Electro so it likely has to do with hitting his block.
