Dropped blocks when assassin mastery activates

Just noticed in;
MASTER: chapter 3: "The Law"
3 fights in a row when enemy was at 18% health (assassin 1 mastery unlocked) my blocks dropped EVERY time.
Going to test this further, but I've noticed this a lot recently.
