Arena waste of time!!!!

I just felt the biggest disappointment in game, was trying to get doc octopus and I raffle manage to collect 1,6+mil when in meanwhile you have to do other things like, AQ AW or just quest plus I need to work in normal life or actually to have a life!!! So I found it really hard to keep up and really stupid even to try something like that again.
I do understand that are really many that playing the game so the competition is big.
My solution would be make it to a standard point and you will get the hero, just like that. Now for those who want and have the time, let them try harder and prove them selfs and as reward give them awaken gems or anything like that cause this is crazy and waste of time plus not everybody got enough heroes to pull out those scores or time!

I have been playing about 4 months and score 1.7 mil each war just for milestones. It will get better bud, just keep going at it.
Yeah arena can get tedious but you have to grow your roster first. Even if Kabam were to make it so that you reach a certain score to get the champion the cutoff would be well over 2mil as that is too easy for too many people these days
Disclaimer: I'm a filthy casual who is content with slow progression, so what I said might not be applicable to you.
Buddy try getting more information bout arena before u grind blindly. Google it.
1. what bracket are u in (veteran I presume since u didn't get him @ 1.7m)
2. Are u aware there is arena infinity streak formulas? Learn it.
3. We all have a life. My whole alli are all working and married adults. We get champs from arena easily if the cutoff is within the 2m range if we want that champ.
Although, Round 1 was 2 Mil. Round 2 I thought I'd Grind for a safe one, and stopped at 2.2, thinking it would be fine. Didn't get him. Always a good rule of thumb. Overshoot. Lol.

The 4 star basic hasnt change still about the same cutoff
Actually it's lowered a fair amount so far. We still have to see the results of a highly-sought Champ like Blade. Even still, before I would have predicted 7-8 Mil, but I have a feeling it may go to about 5-5.5 now.
basic cutoffs cant drop that much lower, 1.5 is the final milestone and even the ones just going for the shards will go around 1.7-1.8 each time. happened more than once now i just went for the shards and landed in top 10%.
It seems like getting high numbers are impossible but it's not. I used to not be able to compete. But after growing my roster more I'm now able to get any 4 star basic I want. I still can't quite get a 4 star featured champ but maybe one day.
I work a full time job as most people do. But it's simply about having enough high prestige champs to make a big enough dent in one round of arena. I can put up about 700K in one round. This means with just 3 rounds of arena I can put up 2.1 million. I'm guessing your roster is not there yet to be able to do that but it will get there if you keep working on it.
And yes I do understand that now it's easier if what you guys said but still this is insane to spend all those hours for just a hero it is look INSANE to me.
Maybe kabbam should just make arenas according to your might and people with over that or lower than that couldn't join so you can only participating for one hero at a time!!
It feels that way at first, but it just takes time to build a Roster. The more Champs you get and the higher you Rank them, the more Points you will be able to make. It used to take me forever because I could only do 50-100k. Now I can do about 800k per Recharge and I don't run Suicides. Most of the time I do about half and don't use my 3*s because I'm running more than one Arena. Just put in as much time and Ranking as you can, and it will only get easier.
I remember scoring 6.1 mil for for nightcrawlers basics arena when he was up. aaaaaand I missed him.
