Did the crystal "stucked in the middle"
Did it end up popping a Blade+Symbiote hybrid? i.e. with the Head of a Blade + the Body of a Symbiote, and the abilities of both combined?
I had something similar the other day, 2 weeks before April Fool's day.
Instead of Symbiote, the guy next to Blade was a 5* Venom, and my crystal didn't stuck in the middle, I didn't get a hybrid, I got a full-size Venom instead.
I have him duped at rank 4. Guy hits like a tank. Stack a few armor break and he takes over 18k in damage. Used him to get uncollected.

The after the Yolo crystal, I opened a 5 star crystal to dupe my 5 star iron fist. Barely a difference. Please make iron fist better!!!
