Black Panther (civil war) buff

I love black panther so much, one of my favorite characters in the MCU, but in this game he’s kinda meh. He’s okay for defence, but Medusa makes him a joke. But there is just one tiny little change that would make him easily a demigod tier, and will make him compete with gwenpool and blade for best skills, while also making him more like his comic/movie origin
Here it goes, after leaving reflect armor state, all the physical damage taken gets reversed, similar to magik’s limbo. It would turn a really terrible champ into one that has a very unique utility and extremely high damage output. But you would still have to keep track of not dying completely, not suffering bleeds, stuns, heal blocks or poisons, since that would cancel the vibranium’s mechanic, or force you to take more damage than you wanted. After all, skills are weak to mutants, and mutants are known for high bleed damage, however very few science champs rely on DOT effects. So it melds with the class system well.
Anyway, just a really simple change that I think would dramatically change the meta of fighting with and against this champion. I think it’s cool

Currently, the biggest downside to Black Panther Civil War (BPCW) is that he lacks any sort of real offensive capabilities. The only way to really deal any sort of significant damage with him requires you to take a fair amount of damage yourself. If you're doing well in a fight, your best tactic is to just spam L1 to try to keep a consistent, mediocre bleed on the enemy. If they're bleed immune, settle in for a long fight.
This suggestion does nothing for his offensive capabilities while enhancing his already considerable defensive capabilities. When fighting this champ on defense, he punishes mistakes BIG TIME. A failed intercept or an accidental stun can be devastating. Reversing all physical damage not only doesn't make sense in-universe (the suit has displayed no such healing properties in the movies so far), but it will render him nearly unbeatable at high levels as the reflect state lasts much longer than Limbo. Think of the healing he'd get with the recovery mastery, or worse, the recovery node. This means you've essentially got to kill him from start to finish while he's in a reflective state, which isn't reasonable for all but a few champs when on AW Defense.
But you mention a way of turning off the new mechanic, seemingly by placing a debuff on him? If that's the case, it'll be impossible for some champs to win while others will turn off the mechanic without even trying. You listed stun as a way to turn off the mechanic when getting stunned is arguably BPCW's handiest tool. Basically, this new suggestion would make him entirely too powerful in some matchups while stripping away any defensive abilities against others. There would be no middle ground.
Again, I think his defensive mechanics are fine. If you want to buff BPCW, you should focus on his offensive capabilities. This is where he's sorely lacking.
While you make a very solid point that it would make him a very difficult fight, I was focusing more on offensive abilities when I came up with this. Let’s say you’re in AW fighting an electro, you start the fight in reflect state, so you allow electro to get a few hits in, (since dealing damage normally would have reverb), then, once you leave reflect state, you hit him with an SP1, he gets hit with the crazy reflect damage, and all the damage you took to ramp that up is reversed, so you took down electro taking almost no damage. However in a similar scinario, you wouldn’t do the same to archangel or X23, since even after reflect state, you’re still taking a huge amount of damage.
As for in-universe lore, althoughout the black panther movie (I do know it’s a different suit from the one he uses in civil war) he relies on taking a beating to dish out a stronger one. That’s just how his suit works. And while that’s kinda how he works in game, it’s only really useful in arena since using him in AQ would be stupid, while you maybe taken out one fight easily, you have no more health. But if you could build up strikebacl charges with no fear of taking perminant damage, it would be absolutely game changing. He’d have incredibly strong utility, and insane burst damage. While not entirely breaking the game, since if you take TOO much damage, you’ll die, and you can’t reverse that.
You bring up a very good point about it making him a broken defender, and even if they add something similar to killmonger, where armor break cancels the armor, he would be a beast on a debuff immune node, since you couldn’t heal block him at all.
Perhaps an alternate solution would be like “consuming a strike back charge heals .5% health” or something, that way he’d only heal back the damage if he lands hit on you, and when playing offensively, if you take damage and fail to dish it back, you’d just be sunk
