Did something just happen to the game?

I am missing lots of specials after a 5 hit combo. Seems like the animations arent chaining together and a lot of specials are landing on the opponents block.
Anybody else experiencing that problem?

    Yeah, most of my specials are getting blocked, especially in Arena.
