AW/AQ’s cool time should be reduced to 30 minutes. Because players are playing games while living everyday. Without everyday life, there is no game.

It is a good idea to finish early when you have finished your work. And your logon way is also a problem. When you log on once every 5 hours, when does the node hang up? That is unproductive.
To x2 energy recharge quicker, then the map will also scale by x2 larger (or perhaps not so extreme, just x1.5 larger). Will you want it to happen?
To support the above, you notice it if you often played aq map3-6, then u realized the pattern is as following in a nutshell.
Map3, min skill required
Map4, decent skill + min time required
Map5, decent skill + decent time required
Map6, great skill + great time required
I usually perform the 5th step map, usually starting at 5 am and too late to be late until 12 pm. Because the players' occupation, the cook, the hairstylist who haircuts, or the man and woman who are in charge of childcare can not come in exactly the same 1-5 hour time. Therefore, if I wait too long for a long time, I wait for the node to be disconnected, but I can not adjust the timing so I can not disconnect another node and cause damage. I have waited for a long time, but it does not end well because I missed my chance because of players' personal time. The cooldown will be reduced resulting time to regain that risk somewhat. But if the game is more important then you have to give up your routine and it's a fatal reason to end the game in the end.
Unless, as @Angelicsign mentioned earlier, they double the amount of energy you need to finish the map, which I think would be much more difficult. If you want to commit to the game to a high level, then commit to a high level. Otherwise, find something which is less demanding.
Also, going to the bathroom is a tried and true tactic.
The map is determined by the alliance. Individuals can not change. Your words are to seek another alliance, which can not be a solution. How is the bathroom? Crazy? It is already out of everyday life and daily life is destroyed. Do you want players to fail in their jobs? It will be your destruction at the same time as the destruction of the individual. Because there is no company without customers.
