Best “Diversity fix” possible

BUFF OLDER CHAMPIONS!

I know I sound like a broken record but imagine for a moment if Magneto White or Colossus were great defenders…

And imagine if Red Magneto and Kamala Khan were acceptable attacker’s (they don’t have to be gods like Blade but maybe just under Luke Cage or Red Hulk level)

Or if Hulkbuster was a two-faced-TANK able to switch between tanking a punch or steamrolling over enemies

And we have SO MANY MORE ABILITIES AND MECHANICS

Class interactions, Tag effects, Incinerate, Shock, Coldsnap, Frostbite, Glancing, Autoblock…… Black ISO, Concussion, Fatigue, Combo interactions, Persistent changes, Aura, Armor Shatter, True Strike/Accuracy/Damage, cooldown timers for abilities, block penetration, armor penetration…

Not to mention the ability to make new systems on the fly like what Luke Cage has (which might just be a modified version of what Ronan’s signature does)

Make crystal openings fun again. Each buff means there’s one less bad and one more good. Not every champion has to be the best at anything just great at something or really good at a few things. More interesting defenders, more counters, evolve the meta by evolving old content instead of simply tearing down new content!

I agree completely... seems a waste to have so many champs in my roster but so few that I actually like or are am willing to use. The old synergies are antiquated along with the old abilities.

The issue from my perspective is that while this makes total sense to me from a players' perspective, I suspect kabam doesn't see the financial incentive to undoing the Nerfing of older champs like (Scarlet Witch or Dr. Strange) or amending the abilities of existing champs as you've suggested such that the less useable ones can become useable. Personally, I would have loved to have traded in my OLD Iron Man for the NEW Iron Man even at some cost or challenge. But releasing new champs seems to be the financial sweet spot for kabam...It just seems antithetical for kabam to do anything for 'free'.

I doubt it’d be a conplete waste. Win favor with the community and make the “bad prizes” more tolerable to encourage more spending. I mean look at Pillow Fists, I mean, look at Luke Cage
