How about T2a recovery tickets instead

I completely understand the reasoning behind making rank down tickets a non in game item. However, like many in the community that cry out for them, I completely understand the why they are in such a demand. We all took a risk on a champ or two with either high hopes, expectations, or due to game changes we are stuck in disappointment. Besides the community is stuck in a follow the advice of the "few" leaving many potential candidates for R4 sitting at R3. Saddly 98% of those potential champs will never see R5 and they might very well deserve that rank. or in other cases alliances require certain champs to be ranked in opposition to what the individual desires then gets kicked and get stuck with a roster that was forced upon them.

While rank downs are cool. I feel the cost to take a champ down should be heavy to discourage such a choice, but at the same time no player should be trapped in such disappointment. I personally feel if a player is willing to take down an R4 at the cost of all basics, class cats, iso, and gold to get their T2a's back that is not only fair but obviously they were very unhappy with that choice. Ive made 2 bad decisions myself and 1 more as result of kabams decisions to change the game. But its theirs to do as they will.

I strongly hope kabam could consider offering these as an option, even if sold to purchase. Its verry discouraging to have some champs that are a major disappointment without any option to correct the matter and or have the courage to place a bet on a less common champ that would be rather diverse compared to the advice of the few. Besides to offer T2a recovery tickets once every 6 months for sale you could take that chance on that uncommon champ knowing if it doesnt work out you could fix it down the road.

    The only thing that should ever warrant a rank down ticket is an event similar to 12.0 where massive changes are made to a champion and how they work. Aside from that, those things should never ever be in game. Regardless of whether its just t2a back or full resources or whatever. They take away personal responsibility for your choices and that imo defeats the spirit of the game. Resource management is an important part of the game.

    The best solution is not to use t2a willy nilly and be choosy on those rank ups.

    I look at it like this. I don't want rank down tickets I'm good but... I saw with the last rdt that came out a lot of high end players switch their bad ranking decisions. I saw some go from r4 5* Colossus to magik etc..tbh it would be unfair to others if they can't do the same at some point.
