Policies and Rules in relation to breach of the terms of service.

I have noticed that after the policy of banning players for using another account, they do not have clear criteria by Kabam. Most players are unaware of how it works or even because they have suffered some penalty. Penalizing someone without the right of defense is grossly unfair and smears the name that the Kabam company has acquired over the years all over the world.

It would be important that the company before penalizing, warned the player about an infraction or penalty and gave the player the option to defend himself.

Penalties should be clearly informed to your players.

It is ugly for kabam to handle the problem with such arbitrariness, disrespecting players and the goal of kabam to exist.

So far I have observed players selling accounts and not being punished or penalized for illegal practices.

If I access the game through the Smartphone of some relative or if I log in from his house I am punished without having the right to defend myself, is that correct? This is fair?

My goal in this post is not to offend and disrespect the company, but rather to enable reflection on how the issue of infraction of the rules is treated and whether they are fair ...

Account Sharing is against TOS. As for what actions they take, that's up to them. However, if you share information with someone, that's the risk you take. They can't differentiate between justifiable cause or not. Otherwise that opens a Pandora's Box of excuses and it no longer becomes a rule.

But the right to defense is a way to respect their players, play this game for years and recent policies have penalized honest players and not the real offenders.

Further in that TOS is the provision that any violation can be grounds for action. It's their house, their rules. The only safe way is to stick to our own Accounts.

Yeah, but who's breaking the rules? You access your account in a square in a mall, is that illegal? You visit a cousin and you log in to his house with the IP of his house, is that illegal?

For rules to work the criteria need to be revised, otherwise Kabam will continue to punish the Honest and not dishonest. The request is for these criteria to be perfected.

The rules are to punish the dishonest rather than the honest, or am I wrong?

Those aren't cases we've seen come up. It's really not that accidental. Account Sharing involves logging on for other people, or having them log on for us. Different locations and devices aren't what constitutes Sharing. People do it all the time. People travel, have multiple devices, all of that.

Are all cases really legal? Does the number of times you access an IP or MAC address show an illegality?

See the following point of view and examples below:

Example 1- You are at the home of a relative who plays and accesses his account from his MAC address and his IP, this is not illegal.

Example 2 - Checks if a MAC address and an IP access and in a short time (Minutes or a few hours) there is access from another MAC address with another IP in a range of IPs far from each other, in this case there are indications of irregularity.

Conclusion: VANCOUVER has an IP address range different from SAN FRANCISCO, the distance between these cities / state is 1,528.2 km, which is equivalent to 17 hours by car, if someone accesses the same account of both cities within a period of less than 17 hours, clearly shows irregularity, since such a person would not be able to be in both places at the same time.

One of my duties is to be a Software Engineer and a Business Specialist. I want to help improve what already exists so that the honest do not continue to be punished.

There are several ways to get this out of your game's DBMS ... Including punishing players who sell your account ...

Anyone with a conscience should know that being punished without given the exact reason/source why is disgraceful. They remove war rating from alliances give 0 explanation and when u contact them the most u get from them is breach of contract they don’t tell u who is piloting so the alliance is stuck without a way to correct the problem..

I am displeased with Kabam's disregard and lack of interest in solving the problem of its CLIENTS, first because of the lack of clarity in applying penalties, if you are punished, the company should have the honor to explain why, so that the player can learn and make corrections. But neither are you compromised if you want to hear your players.

Will your shareholders and Partners like Disney know about how Kabam has behaved with your customers?

The company does not even read the messages we send to it, it simply responds to everyone robotically (e-mail ready) and with total disregard for their customers. It seems that we are talking with machines and not with a company that says they care about their customers.

Account sharing entails a person playing an account that they did not create, that does not belong to them. Players should only be accessing accounts that belong to them and that they originally created. Please note that actions are not taken against accounts without a thorough investigation and evidence. Since we cannot comment on any actions taken on an individual's account on the forums, this will be closed.
