I have an idea, I think it's great an don't care what y'all think; why not implement a birthday reward.
Summoners enter their birthday in the game, and get a reward on that day (it's unchangable for the dorks who gone say people will take advantage).
Reward: Birthday Crystal (you can't see like the Arena crystal)
4* Hero Crystal
T2 Alpha Cat.
T4 Basic or Class Cat.
2.5K 5* Fragments
2.5K 6* Fragments
3-5* Awakening Gem

Unfortunately, I can't make any promises that this will be implemented in a future update, decisions such as that are made by our Game Team. However, they carefully review and consider any suggestions made here in the Forums when they're looking for new and inspirational ideas to help make the game even better.
I get what you saying, but either way, you still have to wait a whole year.
love the suggestion, but make the last item a 4-5* awakening gem, 3* awakening gems are already readily available in greater solo crystals
