When is the notification bug getting fixed?

in Bugs and Known Issues
The stuck notifications (the red circle with a number in it) has been here for several weeks now, even through several planned maintenance windows. Is this being targeted for a resolution soon, or are we going to have to wait for v19.2/20.0? It's a nuisance, so if it has taken low priority to fix larger problems, I get it.

    I fixed it in my tablet.

    1) I left my alliance.
    2) Never joined another alliance.
    3) Never had another persisting notification issue.

    I am pretty sure this fixes it.
