If we hit them, the degen will pass to us. The opposite is also valid.

Lol, but jokes aside, that actually could be a good idea:
"All of the attacker's attacks deal no damage, but you suffer an eternal degeneration that degenerates 1% health per second" From enemy's point of view.
It would mean more of a survival kind of challenge, where the goal is to simply survive the fight. It doesn't matter what fancy champs you bring, what matters is how long you are able to be alive. The longer you are alive, the more damage done to the opponent. Survive for 1 minute and 40 seconds cumulative and the opponent dies.
That wouldnt be too bad, finally i'd use LC for something :P
