Iceman does not counter wasps evade

Iceman's coldsnap ability is supposed to stop champs that evade, this is not the case with wasp and i dont know if it is intentional or not but i would like to know why this is.

    I don't have wasp so I don't know what her signature ability is but yeah she evades my ice boy as well

    Only found this out after digging up her character spotlight (because I ran into this in war) she is made to counter iceman.
    She can shrug off cold snap and instantly counter attack.
    Best way is to bait out heavies and special attacks as she shrinks during those, triggering her evade cooldown

    When she shrinks, she shrugs off all damage over time debuffs except bleed, so as she evades she gets rid of coldsnap....or something.....

    The more you think about it, the more confusing it gets, so just think that yes it is intended that coldsnap doesn't prevent her evades.

    So, this is all just one ability, right?
    What i'm asking is, she can't trigger this counter attack mechanic unless she is under a damaging debuff, right?

    We understand that this ability would be a bit confusing, but she does not need to be under the effect of a damaging debuff in order to activate her counter attack. This basically means characters that rely on damage over time effects to bypass Evade will not work against Wasp. For example, Iceman's Cold Snap is a damage over time effect and will be Purified right before she Evades. Iceman will not be able to deal with Wasp's Evade, but there are other ways to deal with it.

    So Iceman and Kingpin won't be able to stop her Evading (because the cold snap/Black Iso-8 will be shrugged off prior to evasion); but Electra will, as Wasp doesn't shrug off bleed.
