Change The Champion Icon System (In Game)

So, you all are familiar with the champion icon system. Your top champion is your profile icon. Simple? Yes. Perfect? No.
-You might not like the look of the champion you have. Example: I don’t like Gambit’s eyes
-Gender assuming problem. This happened to me before. I had Angela as my top champion and everyone called me a girl despite me being male. (Sorry if my grammar failed)
-Despite the score(?) being lower, another champion might have more damage and health.
And some more.
So, you should be able to select any of your champions as your icon. This would solve countless problems that could come in the future with new updates and game systems incoming.
Please tell me your ideas about this idea. Do you have any suggestions to this? Is this perfect or is it flawed? This is my first discussion thread here so responding would help me a lot.

    @Avengers320 you’d be surprised... when you have a blue middle-aged man as your player icon... things aren’t the most appealing let’s just say as compared to a killmonger

    I agree on this post, except that maybe just limit the choices to maybe the top 5 on your roster.

    I mean I like my BBQ head as a profile, they need to change some champions’s portrait like hood (back to how it was) and some females like Psylocke who looks odd to stare...

    Oh shoot, my profile image just changed today from Ghost Rider to X-23.
    Should I be worried? :neutral:
    I`m half of a cat away from ranking up Hyperion, so it will change to his superman..ish fancy face soon :smiley:

    For a profile/chat display cosmetic I agree with that being able to change your profile image to what you want would be satisfying.
    CeeJay also makes a good point about limiting your choices to your top champions, because the profile image currently indicates the duel opponent you would fight.

    You are actually right, so you won’t go on a crystal spree just to get a champion with a good icon.

    Thanks for the insight Amazing_Demon05 - my assumption was from my own experience in duels - it always seemed to be the profiled champion for me, but interesting to know it's not always the case!
    In a way your point supports the feasibility of the idea if Kabaam were to consider adding it - if the profile pic doesn't currently assure you duel that champion, then changing the profile pic to whatever the player's preference is (poss. from their top 5 champs?) would have little bearing on the game itself and be purely a choice/quality of life change.
