How to get a lot of any Crystal shards

You need to grind event quests and just find shard crystals and save your unites for charecter crystals or shard crystals to get lots and lots of shard I play a lot of this game so does my friend we've been playing to 2 years and I only have 5 four stars and one 5 star you need to tell developer's to make it easier for shard crystals

    Lol, you’ve been playing for two years, and you have only (5) 4* champs and (1) 5*... that means you don’t play, or don’t really know how to. The developers can’t make it any easier.

    If it's a question: Any and every monthly EQ gives 1000 5* shards after completing hard. GP event gives you a buttload of 5* shards, 7500 I think. I mean, 5* shards are everywhere, and 4* shards are even more common.
