Problem with AQ Update/"increased rewards"

With the new update to AQ the difficulty level has clearly increased. I am not against this however you need to scale the rewards at the same pace as you did the difficulty. In order to complete the more difficult paths on AQ you need to be running r4 5* and up. I know some trolls will hop on here and say how good they are and how they take down the bosses linked......My guess you are on an easy path or have an over powered account in a little alliance. The main thing needed to level guys are T2A. The amount you increased them in rank rewards is a complete joke. Finishing 250-500 rank rewards you gain 2000 shards. 4 T2A are needed to R4 a 5*. It will only take you 72 weeks in order to form enough T2A from rank rewards to level up a 5* to r4. Finishing 501-800 it will take 144 week and finishing 801-1200 it would take 288 weeks in order to form enough T2A to R4 1 5* from rank rewards. The difficulty has significantly increased and once again you have fell flat on your face scaling the game properly. I would bring up revives and potions for AW and AQ but no need beating a dead horse.

    They have also added T2A to map 6 crystals. I wouldn't say it significantly increased but with newer champs in AQ now, we aren't used to fighting them as much. I would say the difficulty has been raised to meet the rewards now. Season 4 was boring and easy.

    Totally agree...my alliance would get 500 shards a week...how many years would it take to r5 a 5*?

    Or are we supposed to buy all t2a offers?

    Even purchasing from glory is not feasible as you make it extremely difficult to rank up champs with increasing costs

    The champs aren't new to the game just new to AQ. EX) Today I'm running an R4 5* Corvus, MS and r3 5* guilly. Section 2 I go into the Dorm (masochism) fight with full health. Both MS and Corvus get KO and it wasn't because I fought poorly. He wouldn't use/bait specials so I am constantly degen. Have to attack once I'm in the corner and he uses his s3 and i'm dead. I agree those 2 aren't great counters to dorm however MS is a great option for masochism. She has constant regen from it. A normal node like that is far more difficult that anything on the prior AQ map and thus rewards should be increased to scale with it as well.

    My group has found the new roster of champs in aq manageable compared to last season, but it's the mini bosses and the new boosted attack that's killing us. I presented a lot of evidence of that on the other thread about this, but none of us EVER had a problem taking down Green Goblin all last season, let alone had to use items and we always finished around rank 1200 or so at the end of the week. While Kabam did mention that prestige caps would be changed for groups who were hitting them, we never did and our prestige at the END of the week would maybe get past 8k total. This season we're at 9k for prestige with the exact same group and champs total...and got destroyed almost every day by GG, especially the second mini. He's got over 200k health and over 7k, now today on day 5 he's sitting at 8101 attack rating with over 205k health. My rank four five star hyperion gets slaughtered and times out just from block damage. Took over 200 hits to even get him close to dead, and that's spamming parry, heavy, special 2.

    I feel the announcement underplayed how much the difficulty would be increasing compared to last season and our group and others are feeling it. I don't like having to dip into my items or use glory for things I never had to last season running the same map with probably the same rewards. I would love some balance and scaling on this issue alone.

    I mean we are paying 130k+ gold, 30k bc and 13k loyalty every week per member to run this thing, it's not exactly free rewards by any means and having to use items on top of it for the first time in over a year because of...reasons...is not exactly a selling point. And if it was supposed to encourage groups like mine to maybe add in a map 6 and have the rest do 5, that's even more donations on top of more difficulty.

    The funny thing is, if they don't change it, my group won't whine. We will remember how Kabam handles this and what they did, like other things in this game, but after some time it will make us better and do the opposite it was probably intended to do - spend units. We chose not to do that for war and we sure aren't gonna start for AQ either.

    It has get harder. Agerd and tier2 aplh has ben raise but stil take alot of time but if u wont to catch of with the end game u hav to pay.

    It has ben harder my. Only hard for this is har the Ai play. Try to parry but ther just defensiv and watig for me to akt

    The stats on the mini bosses aren't the same, they're amped up quite a lot from last season. GG mini #2 is sitting at over 8k in attack with over 205k health on day 5 for us. That didn't happen last season.
